This event repeats every week on Thursday forever

Black Horse NET
Black Horse Militia will be conducting weekly HAM radio NETS.

We go on the air every Thursday at 8pm Pacific Time.

HARC 70 cm Repeater: 443.100 (+5.0 kHz shift and 103.5 Tone)
At the conclusion of the NET we switch over to national simplex frequency for 2m and 70 cm to make a simplex contact.

This is a directed NET. If you don't know what means, that means that the NCS will call on individuals to speak based on the order of check in at the top of every NET. This means no cross talking. It always goes back to the NCS. This is to help avoid repeater drops and stepping on other radio operators.

No political debates or religion discussions during the NETs. Our NETs are about prepping, civil defense, survival 101.

This event repeats every week on Friday forever

Every Friday at 7PM PST we encourage all of you CB operators to jump on your radios and make a call out. CH3 (26.985 mhz)

The objective is to make some contacts within a 30 minute time span. If you feel like calling out longer because the airways are busy, by all means keep on.

There is no NCS like in a HAM NET. Do not use your HAM or GMRS call signs on the CB bands.

The point of this exercise is to one, occupy and utilize this band. the 11 meter CB band is not useless, pointless nor dead. As long as it exist we as preppers should be using it to run contact test and checking to make sure our CB radio set ups are up to standard for an emergency. In an emergency it doesn't matter what band you use to reach help. Just knowing how to call for help and use the gear matters.

Encourage your old friends to dust off there old CB radio and get back in.
