That's startling to me. I've never had one such conversation, but most likely because I never suspected someone could be for hunting and shooting sports and neglect the responsibility of the 2nd Amendment. But it explains our own Joe Manchin perfectly. The man was Governor of WV... then ran for the Senate with a 30/06 in his hand advertising himself to be pro gun, won the election, went straight to Washington and was one of the 1st one's to support tighter gun control. I'll never forgive his lying a$$ for that... and have been advocating for his defeat. I never supported him the 1st time, but I loath him now.

Thank you, I have lived here 20 +years and I can't believe there aren't more people involved with militia groups.  It could be lack of information in the community's. I would hope that people would stand up for their 2nd ammendment rights if things go like Virginia. Its good to know  I have a brother in the State to stand by. Always here and ready. Unless things have changed in the last couple of weeks none. I was looking for a group in all surrounding counties and couldn’t find one before we formed the one in Mercer.

That's the way it was when I looked into it. I couldn't hardly believe there wasn't already a unit established for our county. And last I looked, I could find but three units for the WHOLE STATE. So every way you look at it, there's alot of work to do.

And @ John Smith JR.  ? How's things over there in Saudi? I wasn't sure you would be able to com from there but it looks like you're getting through just fine! I hope all is well over there.

You know? I'll bet if I gave them a call they would JUMP on the chance, especially right now, to talk to a bonafide militiaman. I MUST take care of one issue of a cosmetic nature and then I just might give those guys a call... I wouldn't mind being interviewed by Katherine Thompson... not one bit. And you know what? I'll wager it would be one of the best interviews they've ever turned out because I would just be real... No script... Just a little history, the truth about what the militia is and what the goals we are working toward individually, as a unit, as a community, a county and even the state as far as self-sufficiency without relying on our federal government for everything from cradle to grave! Can you imagine what it would be like to have a support from a state level, with all the counties working to forge foundations for SELF-SUFFICIENCY? I also may call out the fake news for what they are doing to prevent all of this with the smears and the lies about our local militias as they try to destroy the 1st and 2nd Amendments (if so allowed)...

They'll get more real in 5 minutes with me than you'll hear in a year on WVVA.

Hey Matt, things are ok here in Saudi, one of the few rigs we get a signal on. I think the interview on WVVA would be a good idea to get the word out and hopefully dis spell the image of a bunch of anti government white supremist running around the woods shooting anything that moves, which is how the media has portrayed militia groups for many years. Things could go either way since WVVA is an NBC affiliate though, but you’ll never know if you don’t try. There’s more than likely more people wanting to join but just don’t know where to look.

Yes Sir. I know the anchors (including Katherine) are liberals, as all of them are hired fresh out of college. They would definitely be defensive. But heck, in Mercer County Democrats outnumber Republicans 12 to 1. I am used to being castigated. But thing is, while all that castigating is going on, there's conversation that the left NEVER wants people to hear... and I've found it can change alot of minds, and give those that do stand rightly, better education in why they can take their stand for our Republic. No matter how they treat me, it's a win, win. All they can do is accuse and give false talking points. When I counter with the truth, they really have nothing to say... They themselves prove my point every time. The hard part is getting them to agree to a conversation in the 1st place. Me being a complete unknown, if I could get them to go live with me one morning, they would be bushwhacked. Then, the only hope I'd have for another interview is for the public response to be overwhelming. And who knows. It just might be.

If you'll accept the invite into our unit section here, you can catch up on what's happening. We just held our 1st meeting in Princeton and we are building everything from the ground up. We will be meeting again as soon as one of our members @ John Smith JR. returns from a stint in Saudi Arabia. That rascal works over there for a living but comes home periodically.
