Anyone use a holographic style red dot sight with a magnifier on their AR. I am considering a change over from a scope but would like some opinions on them.

It's a fixed power that flips out of the way.

You can set it up for left or right handed. If your going down this road stick with the spendy ones from big companies. You'll only kick yourself on the cheapo ones. I've seen sight mark ones deflect brass back into the chamber when flipped to the side. Not something you want in a fight.

I've broken enough big $ magnifiers to give up on spending a lot of money on them. Lately I've been running a UTG Q/D flipout ;locking mount with an el cheapo 3x mag behind my Eotech. It's clear enough and sturdy enough (It's passed the toss test more than once) for my needs and if it gets busted it's no crying event..

Who we are

We are a community of concerned patriots who are not overly confident in the current direction of our society, from the wild political climate to what can be summed up as a lack of morals or a complete void of integrity and pretty much a blatant disregard of respect..... Respect for our past, respect for our future and respect for each other. In order to protect our constitution and life as we know it, we decided to not be the silent majority anymore and pull our selves up by the bootstraps and make the world a better place. This website is to unite people like us, people who want to make a difference ... and do it the right way, Little did we know that in doing so we would create the number one militia community online. Here we are. Enjoy.
