I used to in the house. Now I just burn wood at the base camps. Red oak burns really nice. Don't burn gum oak.

I live in a 2,000 sq. ft. modular home that has a wood burning fireplace in the family room that I have used to heat my home quite nicely during the numerous power outages we have had here in the boonies ! I have plenty of trees on my property so I have no problems with supply !
