Two armed robbers wearing masks attempted to rob a gun store just after it opened in Cobb County, Georgia, with predictable results.

A gun store owner shot and killed a man attempting to rob his store Monday morning, according to police.

The owner of Dixie Gun and Pawn on Veterans Memorial Parkway in Cobb County, along with one other worker, had just opened the store when two men with ski masks and guns came in, according to investigators. Police say the owner pulled out his gun and fired, hitting one of the gunmen.

The second gunman took off in a silver Dodge Magnum and headed east down Veterans Memorial Parkway. Police are still searching for that man, and said they believe he is armed.

While there have been many successful gun store burglaries in the past year late at night after the stores close and there are no longer, actual armed robberies of gun stores during business hours tend to have a low success rate, as the owners tend to be better armed and better trained than the robbers.

This was the case here, and the owner saved not just his own life, but the life of an employee.

Hopefully they’ll be able to capture the second robber soon and charge him with the murder of his partner under Georgia’s implementation of the felony murder rule.

Oh...crimes are increasing day by day. Sad to listen about the deaths. But in Gun store it must have bullet proof vests or body Armour and it can help to reduce the chances of deaths. More security and safety, lesser the death chances. But be sure that Armour should be from reliable and certified manufacturer. http://www.hardshell.ae/
