its a syringe filled with little sponges you stick it in the gun shot wound and push the sponges in stops blood in 15 seconds and provides 4 hours to get to medical attention was appoved last year for the military and now for civilans

I believe it is a form of Quikclot that you use the syringe to inject it a little farther in to a wound so it does a better job of stopping the bleeding temporarily.
