these little computers seem to be so versatile at only $5 people are doing all sorts of things with these anyone here ever mess with them?

My nephew has been messing with them. You can basically do all kinds of stuff once you learn the programming language. The little one he messes with has a windows like interface and can do basic web browsing, and stuff like that but apparently these things are pretty darn capable little computers.

I foresee the creation of the SWAT robots that go in a shoot people with shotguns... anyone else?

Foresee? It's already a possibility. The concept presented in this video is possible now, all it takes it the effort to build the network, program the AI, and start production.

We've been using the robots in EOD since the 80s. Now, it'll be easier for run of the mill folks to get their hands on it, and with XBox paddles to direct them!

i can see some money making potential running emulators on them build for $30 sell for $60

I use them for ham radio programs like DMR & Allstar

we interface them to a radio and cover a large area
