Who We Are, and Who We Are Not

1. We are private citizens who live normal civilian lives. While some members may have previous military or police experience, they are presently civilians exercising their right to keep, and bear arms, and form militias.

2. We are not a hate group, we do not tolerate racism in our ranks, nor do we promote racism in our actions.

3. We share a common interest in freedom. We support the constitution, and its amendments. We believe that the first ten amendments, known as the bill of rights, are not only rights, but are also responsibilities that must be exercised in order to maintain freedom.

4. We are family members. Not just members of our own individual families, but members of the Louisiana Outlaw Militia family. We work together, and look after our own. We help each other when times are tough, and we celebrate together when times are good.

5. We are not aggressors or vigilantes. We are not looking to make “something” happen. We come together to train and prepare “in case” something happens. To instigate civil unrest is a criminal act. We are not criminals, and we will not condone criminal behavior. We will be the first to report criminal behavior in our ranks, once discovered, to the proper authorities.

6. We are educators and students. We strive to learn, and teach. Part of our preparation demands that we think outside the box. We exchange ideas, and we debate to find truth.

7. We are survivors. We endure Hurricanes, fires, crime, disease, the list goes on. We survive, and thrive, not because we are ultimately strong individuals, but because God and the people we surround ourselves with in life give us the strength to overcome any obstacle.

8. We are not weak. We believe that our freedom is under attack. We believe there are those out there that would take away our liberty, and enslave not only us, but our progeny. They wish to Govern, but not be governed. They want us to work while they play. They want privacy while all along they grow suspicious of anything that they cannot know of us. They would remove our hope and anything else that identifies us as individuals. They will use any means necessary to achieve their goals. They want to live above us, as if better than us, and the only way they can succeed in doing this is with propaganda, threats, and lies. We will not bow down to tyranny.

9. We are believers in the all mighty God. We believe that God allows our freedom. God gives us the right, and responsibility to manage our own lives, and the lives of our children and elders not able to manage for themselves.

10. We are armed. Our forefathers learned how to overcome oppression. They sacrificed much, they studied the tactics of their oppressors, and they adapted by first defeating their oppressors, and then, drafting a near perfect document that if followed, will continue to keep people on this continent free of oppression for centuries more.

11. We are proud. We work hard. We are Honest. We are fair. Although not perfect, we strive to be the best that we can be. We are always looking for like-minded people. Even though there are those that wish to divide us, we know that people like us can, and will, come together.
