The CMMG Banshee Lineup: Four SBRs, Four AR Pistols

CMMG is showing no signs of slowing down in 2018; the company just announced its new Banshee lineup of firearms.

Consisting of four SBRs and four AR pistols, the CMMG Banshee series sports the shortest barrels the company currently offers in 9mm, .45 ACP, .300 BLK and .22 LR. The SBRs and pistols chambered in 9mm and .45 ACP are fed from factory Glock mags and use CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback system.

Each model comes with CMMG’s new ambidextrous charging handle, sling plate and safety selector. In addition, the Banshee comes standard with a Magpul MOE pistol grip; RML M-LOK handguard; and CMMG’s Cerakote finish.

The SBR models—all NFA rules apply—sport a Magpul MVG fore grip and come with CMMG’s RipStock. The RipStock is a compact buttstock machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. It features two patent-pending technologies: Fastback and P3. The former allows the user to pull straight back to extend the stock without worrying about a release lever. P3 is personal position presets that let the user screw into one of five slots, guaranteeing the stock extends to the same position every time.

All the AR pistol models come with a Tailhook Mod 2 brace.

MSRP on the CMMG Banshee lineup starts at $1,149.95 for the .22 LR pistol and SBR. Every other model is priced at $1,499.95.
