We screen each and every potential member to insure that we have a secure environment for everyone in the group and anyone to join in the future. EaglesNest Posted April 21, 2018 I would like information on joining. I am an older female, Boston area, Navy Vet. What I would like to ask is if in the event of SHTF, what is this Militia's preparedness plan moving forward? How would you call a muster of all 50 states.....do you have a "Captain" in each state? Ryan, please don't spend much time speaking with Megatron. This guy really hasn't got a clue as to what a SHTF scenario would look like, nor would he be a good team player in helping. You don't have formal leadership schools for rank. Thus a made up rank is stupid. My view is small teams without a formal leader is what the future holds. You can operate without risk to a leak in opsec. Training is easier and you won't have as much issues with fake people who didn't make it in the military. Generally when a group starts off yes the initial ranks will be appointed to fill what is needed and after that everyone will start at the bottom. But the individuals that are appointed will have the skills and knowledge for that ranks when done properly. Rank is not something that is given it is something that is earned when applied correctly. Ripcannon Posted April 22, 2018 Hell everyone I've met had or has a full military career not that matters when doing a militia if there's no rank the people will still listen to the most respected member that's a rank of sorts if you ever been in a bad situation you got someone down in a bad way and no way out you look to who is in charge. Sons Of The Constitution Militia Unit Posted June 12, 2018 Hey guy would just like to say there has to been some structure in a militia just as the military..i just retired from the Marine corps after 23 yrs of service.. I have my own MILITIA...but i let my members vote on the rank that is appointed and to whom it is appointed..if some one wants to move up to rank of sgt theres things he must do to earn it tjen the group votes majority rules.works better that way cause the members have a say in it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
