Texas State Militia - Houston Unit

TSM Houston is one of the multiple TSM units in Texas. We are centered around the Houston area covering a radius of roughly 100mi.  From far north of Huntsville down passed Texas City.

We are extremely active.  We train 2-3 times per month, we have full unit trainings as well as fireteam trainings. We are comprised of former military, current/former LEO, and civilians.  We also have public events on a regular basis where we engage in volunteer work, charities, fundraisers, and promotional activities.

 

We participate in TSM Statewide FTXs as well, combining our unit with other TSM units throughout this state.  This occurs once or twice a year.

 

We are non-discriminatory, non-separatist, non-political supporters of the Texas and US Constitutions.

 Went to a TSM 'meet and greet' on Aug.22 down in Harris County.  It was an informative session and they seemed to be well organized and community oriented.  They hold  Field Training Exercises about every other week, so, if you're looking for a close knit group that is active, concentrates on various kinds of training, and adheres to parameters set in the Constitution,  TSM may very well be the ticket.          A.P.
