VIDEO: Action Target’s Target Hanger Works on Every T Post on Range

Recommended Posts

At the recent Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous, we got some much needed range time with the good folks from Action Target. We used several of the company’s steel target systems, including its target hanger, and we came away impressed. Better still, Action Target manufactures several different types of portable steel target systems. Moreover, the target systems are suitable for competition, training or simply for fun shooting.

The video shows off the company’s innovative T-Post static target hanger, which is about as field expedient as you can get. The system works off a standard T-Post, the kind typically available at hardware stores for under $10. Super lightweight, a T-Post will usually withstand a surprising amount of rounds impacting as well. Also, combined with Action Target’s hanger design, this system stores, transports and sets up with ease.

Beyond the Target Hanger

For competition shooters, Action Target manufactures a host of specialty targets shooters are likely to see at major matches. Adding a Double Helix Magstar, Double Steel Swinger, PT Dueling Tree or Magstar to your club or range can go a long way in preparing for a major pistol or 3-Gun event.

For those more interested in tactical training, Action Target produces several static systems suitable for high-volume shooting. The PT Scout Stand Kit, for example, utilizes a 2×4 and a steel plate to get your ready to send rounds downrange. Meanwhile, one of several Challenge or Hostage Target systems enable shooters to drill for different scenarios.

Finally, for those just looking to amp up their shooting fun on the backyard range, the Rimfire Dueling Tree, PT Plate Rack or PT Pepper Popper can handle seemingly all the rounds you can throw at them.

For those that haven’t utilized steel targets in the their training or fun shooting, you’re missing out. Providing immediate feedback, yet providing challenges all their own, steel targets add tremendous value to any range session.

Who we are

We are a community of concerned patriots who are not overly confident in the current direction of our society, from the wild political climate to what can be summed up as a lack of morals or a complete void of integrity and pretty much a blatant disregard of respect..... Respect for our past, respect for our future and respect for each other. In order to protect our constitution and life as we know it, we decided to not be the silent majority anymore and pull our selves up by the bootstraps and make the world a better place. This website is to unite people like us, people who want to make a difference ... and do it the right way, Little did we know that in doing so we would create the number one militia community online. Here we are. Enjoy.
