Yup, I have a rig in my cart, just waiting to get a few more extra bucks saved up for it!  I would recommend putting your choices into a cart and leave it there for a week.  Sometimes they send you a code for additional $ off when you have left something in your cart to entice you to go ahead and check out.

I was going to get the testudo, but after watching several videos of stocky guys like myself with the plate carrier I decide to get the expert plate carrier

I want the ability to use 11x14 plates for more protection/ body coverage

I think I'm going to buy the raw plates and coat them myself if I go 10x12 https://www.ar500armor.com/ar500-armor-body-armor/level-iii-body-armor/raw-steel-plate.html

just to keep costs down

I prefer to think of myself as "big boned".  If there can be 38 different genders, I can certainly be big boned.  Okay, so there are only 2 genders, but I'm still big boned!  ?
