One way I recruit is make up cheap business cards for the militia I am in and pass them out to like minded people.  I also slip them between the drivers door window and rubber so they see them getting in their vehicle, if there are appropriate stickers and signage on their vehicle indicaticating they might be a good candidate.  I also stick them up on bulletin boards like they have at some gun stores, barbershops.  You can get some Avery Business card stock, go to their website and design a card and print it out onto your card stock for no extra charge.

This is a great idea - I will also be putting together a website for our area to improve the recruitment outreach.

The first steps are the trickiest, like anything else. But I do like the above idea for starting up the machine.
