Where would you choose to sit in this restaurant and why?

G1, It gives a view of all other customers and doors in/out of the restaurant, but closer to the exit than table D and A.  That is how I always choose my seat if I have an option to do so.  Actually A is blind to the kitchen door so no go on that table.  D1 would be a close second choice.

G1, unless there is a window to my back

Good point, where the windows are could make a difference in choice.  The floorplan in the exercise above has no windows though.

Kitchen, has a funnel location behind the hostess stand for targets to present themselves and a likely unused egress out the side. Additionally, most restaurants use metal tables and have shit all over the place, making line of sight on me more difficult and bullet placement against me less accurate.

I like C2 because it's close to a wall and near the kitchen wall that also gives a better some and a line of sight to the front door and an active shooter situation, control the room, were the majority of people, they aren't going to see the guy in the back right away l, due to the wall in the distractions from the kitchen people coming in and out, most likely because most active shooters aren't trained at all, or that way it's a matter of emotion. it puts me in a position to react to faster and engage the threat while minimizing casualties.

I would sit at table F seat E because it is the closest seat to a door into the kitchen. If all hell was to break out in this restaurant, hopefully, I could make it into the kitchen so that I could find a spot where I would have some protection and still be able to draw my weapon to defend my self and others around me. The people in the kitchen might not even be aware that anything is going on in the restaurant, due to the noise level.
