The Hammerli Tac R1 22 C Delivers Rimfire Fun in an AR-Styled Platform

Recommended Posts

Hammerli recently announced its newest carbine, the Tac R1 22 C. Styled like an AR-15, the Tac R1 22 C delivers familiar controls in a .22 LR chambering.

The Hammerli Tac R1 22 C delivers precision, quality and value in a .22 LR AR-style package, according to Hammerli. The carbine features a 13-inch free-float M-LOK handguard. Additionally, it utilizes folding back-up sights, a removable flash hider with 1/2×28 threads and adjustable stock with QD sling points and an ergonomic grip.

The Tac R1 C also features an all-aluminum construction of the handguard, upper and lower receivers, along with a closed trigger guard. The 1/2×28 pre-installed thread adapter allows for the immediate use of a suppressor, right out-of-the-box. The Tac R1 22 C also features an adjustable gas system that allows the user to tune the rifle to various loads of ammo by only adjusting one screw. This is ideal for tuning for suppressed use and sub-sonic loads, according to Hammerli.

“We are very excited to release this rifle. With Hammerli’s history and culture of making superior rifle products, the TAC R1 22 C combined all the features that customers want in a quality 22 rifle, at an extremely competitive price. The TAC R1 22 C is set to be the benchmark in the tactical .22 LR rifle market,” said Cody Osborn, Marketing Manager, Hammerli Arms, Inc.

The Hammerli Tac R1 C begins shipping May 1st. For more information, visit hammerliarms.com.
