Limited Edition Mark IV Limited Edition Mark IV Limited Edition Mark IV

Ruger recently announced a unique new pistol created to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the company, the Limited Edition Mark IV. The pistol features a unique laser engraving on the receiver and bolt, along with a “70TH” serial number prefix. The Limited Edition Mark IV also comes in a custom wood case, one reminiscent to boxes the original Standard pistols shipped in in 1949. The package also includes a 70th anniversary pin and decal.

Ruger began manufacturing the Standard pistol in 1949. The .22 caliber pistol immediately earned a reputation for being affordable, accurate and reliable, and effectively put Ruger on the map. The Mark IV Standard model represents the fourth generation of the line. As such, it includes several improvements over the original.

The Limited Edition Mark IV retains the classic Standard styling. The pistol features a 4.75-inch cold hammer-forged, tapered barrel with fixed sights and an angled grip. The one-piece grip frame is CNC-machined from aluminum. The one-button takdedown feature remains. Meanwhile, an ambidextrous manual safety and redesigned bolt stop add to the functionality. A magazine disconnect safety prevents the pistol from firing when no magazine is in the well. The pistol comes with two nickel-Teflon coated, 10-round magazines.

The Standard is the pistol that started it all for Ruger, and it makes a fitting tribute to one of the industry’s most successful companies. For more information, visit ruger.com.

Who we are

We are a community of concerned patriots who are not overly confident in the current direction of our society, from the wild political climate to what can be summed up as a lack of morals or a complete void of integrity and pretty much a blatant disregard of respect..... Respect for our past, respect for our future and respect for each other. In order to protect our constitution and life as we know it, we decided to not be the silent majority anymore and pull our selves up by the bootstraps and make the world a better place. This website is to unite people like us, people who want to make a difference ... and do it the right way, Little did we know that in doing so we would create the number one militia community online. Here we are. Enjoy.
