This blog is owned and written by two Preppers, one from the East Coast and the other from the West Coast of the U.S. We are both big supporters of the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. So you will find many posts on firearms, ammunition, and gun rights here. We also like to blog about survival gardening, politics and economics as these relate to prepping, and different types of survival equipment and tools.

 

We are serious Preppers, but not survivalists. We think that people should prepare for a wide range of possible disasters, from severe and long-term to moderate and short term. But we are not “Doom and Gloomers” or survivalists. We offer a prepping and survival blog with a moderate approach to prepping for types of disasters most likely to affect you and your family. PREP stands for: Prudent Reasonable Emergency Preparedness.
