The media has been changing the references from Patriot Groups to Private Armies. It is to detract from our intentions of freedom.

 

 

These types of articles harms us all....

This is why you hold elections, why you don’t leave your state, why you vett people and have mandatory probation periods, why we don’t head hunt from other groups, why there are not secret meetings in your groups, why you don’t interfere in your groups  other leaders brigades or zones or areas of responsibility.

People are always going to have disagreements, you need to have in place a way to discuss and resolve them. Everyone needs to understand and agree to this prior to bringing them into your folds.

There are groups and organizations out there looking to make the Patriot Movement look like we are the bad guys.

It doesn’t matter if this story is only half truth, it is out there for the whole world to see. Don’t air your differences on social media or any public venues...what kind of piece of shit talks to southern poverty law center? Keep your dirty laundry in house!

The same dimwits that do interviews with Vox and Vice are the ones who do articles and interviews with SPLC.  Some people can't resist the opportunity to 'look important' and puff around.

 

They're pushing the private armies language because most states have laws against private armies.

I've always considered that IF your County Sheriff is Constitutionally-minded, it would be a good idea to establish good relations with him and his Office.  Sheriffs are elected, whereas Police Departments are not. 

 

Mutual support is a strength, and you never know when having local "government" backing, could come in handy when faced with peculiar circumstances.  It lends legal weight and public credibility to your unit's existence.
