After measuring... do yourself a favor when ordering and opt for a pad upgrade if available from a manufacturer.  

 

I have an HHV ATE Gen I... the stock pads were comfortable but the upgraded pads were worth every penny.  Far more comfortable, durable, and supportive.  I believe they are now standard on the Gen II.

I have an xl bump helmet and think its snug but comfortable once I added the areo blu pad upgrade

 

I also upgraded my M pasgt to pads & H harness, but thinking now I should have gotten a L since I was in between sizes
