Texas Militia Training Saturday, January 11, 2020

Our by invitation only Texas Militia Training Exercise on private land with live fire starts at 8 am Saturday, January 11th, 2020.

We will have live fire and force on force combat simulations with blanks. We will also be shooting steel reactive targets so eye protection is mandatory. Our live fire will be stress fire training that most gun ranges would not allow.

If you want to train with us you must email us for an invitation, map, and directions at [email protected] if you have not received them in the past. Our training is focused on small unit light infantry guerrilla warfare combat tactics.

Freedom is not free. Train while you still can. We all need to be combat trained force multipliers able to defend our God given constitutional rights as the founders of the United Sates intended. We are not meeting just to sit around and talk. Our militia training requires that all men be capable of physical exertion such as patrolling with a rifle, web gear, at least 4 to 6 loaded spare magazines and 2 quarts of water.

Do not come on to the training area property until after we unlock the gate at 8 am Saturday, January 11th. Be sure to check our website www.TexasMilitia.Info after 7 pm on Friday, January 10th for any date change or cancellation.

You can camp out with us Saturday night and continue training with us Sunday, January 21st or you can go home Saturday night. So we can concentrate more on training we will be camping near our vehicles down a trail out in the woods rather than backpacking to the campsite.

Location: near Colmesneil, Texas. To see where Colmesneil is go here http://tinyurl.com/h5y4vmt (copy and paste to your browser if clicking it does not work).

No one under 18 is allowed at our training exercises. Anyone you bring with you except for your wife or girlfriend must email us for a separate invitation.

You are welcome to bring your own blanks for the combat simulations and we will have blanks on hand in .223, .308, and 7.62x39 to sell at our cost if you don’t have any blanks. If you don't have a blank firing adapter you can cycle your rifle by hand after each shot

You won’t need to shoot a lot of live rounds but so you can get used to the weight, be sure your gear is set up correctly, and see that all your gear will work together; when you arrive you need to have your battle load ready to go with at least 6 loaded 30 round magazines if your rifle is a .223, at least 4 loaded 30 round magazines if your rifle is a 7.62x39, or at least 4 loaded 20 round magazines if your rifle is a .308, besides a loaded magazine in your rifle but do not have a round chambered.

You will also need to bring one unloaded magazine for when we switch to using blanks. The blanks must be loaded in front of a witness and all of your other rifle magazines and all of your live rifle rounds must be locked in your vehicle. That way there is no chance of grabbing a magazine of live rounds by mistake.

Bring your rifle, handgun, ammunition, web gear with load magazines, bring your camelbak, canteen, camping gear, folding or camp chair, sleeping bag, flashlight, entrenching tool/folding shovel, and toilet paper. Bring drinking water and what you want to eat. So we will have more time for training you should bring food that is already cooked so it only needs to be warmed. At home you can wrap a cooked meal in foil, freeze it, and then at our training exercise set it in our camp fire or on our grill for a quick hot meal that costs less than an MRE. You can wear camouflage BDUs, hunting camo, or dark earth tone street clothes. Bring a rain poncho and a tent in case of rain. If you don't have it all, bring what you can and collect what you don't have over time. Adapt, improvise, and overcome.

No news media or journalists of any kind will be allowed. No alcohol, drugs, or illegal weapons will be allowed. All cell phones and all cameras must remain in your vehicle. Do not bring any pets.
