JLTV Program Proves the Army Can Acquire a New Combat Vehicle

The ultimate prepper / militia vehicle.  I'd still like to have a few LAV-25 also.

Jltv is hot garbage

I haven't had any personal experience with it.  What are the shortcomings of it?

It's worse then a up armored humvee.  If your anything close to or over six feet tall your going to hate life.  It uses nitrogen for the adjusted ride height.  So guess what's going break and be out of luck.  The computer components are in a dumb spot .....umm yeah

If you watch the DRMO auctions once a blue moon you can find M1161 Growlers pop up. They usually go for a couple of grand, but expect to get a vehicle that has been maintained by someone that would have rather have been doing something else and missing a few COTS replaceable parts.
