I've been saying this for the last few years and Virginia has borne out my prediction: The critical part of this fight is the state legislatures.  If the ultra progressives gain control of state politics they won't care how many protests or rallys you hold, they will do their darndest to strip your rights away as fast as they can.  Now they are pushing for North Carolina. We cannot sit and celebrate what we consider small victories.

 

Likewise judicial races, which are even harder to really dig into because they are usually 'non-partisan" candidates. We all know there's no such animal.

The assault weapons ban, Universal background checks for every transfer even to purchasing ammo, Trying to repeal Stand your ground, Mag ban, storage requirements for weapons, mental health checks for CCW, plus decrease the time from 7 yrs to 5 yrs, And keeping all your info and fingerprints on file. Here's one of the bills that passed committee in Florida and going to a full vote!  This needs to be stopped. Our you a Threat if you feel threatened , take out your fire arm and the threatening person moves away so you no longer feel you have to use your fire arms are you subject to this purposed new anti-gun law???

Can't believe the American voters would allow so much anti-gun nonsense come up for a vote!  Maybe they are too stupid to know any better, or maybe they are too apathetic to actually do any research.  In any event, this is something that should not be happening.  What are the people thinking?  Don't they value the rights/oppurtunities they have as citizens of this country?  All one needs to do, is take a look at other governments.  There are places in the world where citizens would give their eye teeth to live under a government like we do in America.  Our government may have flaws (what government doesn't have them), but it's probably the best one around.  Just look at societies that have allowed themselves to be disarmed, then ask yourself how well they've done.  I think Mao Tse Teung said something like, 'The easiest way to control a population is to disarm them and take away the means of defending themselves.'  Yet people here seem to be willing to hand over their freedoms.  Like one well known radio host used to say, 'It is amazing!'

Hers a Urban Core Gun Violence Task Force; Creating the Urban Core Gun Violence Task Force; specifying duties and powers of the task force; authorizing the task force to seek assistance from state agencies; providing for access to certain information, etc.

 

Not sure if this is good or bad. I see a lot of good but also a big chance for it to be abused against 2A supporters.

I think most are too apathetic but by way of caring way to much about what their cell phones tell them. If they would even take a few moments every day just to pay attention and research what is going on they might can think for themselves and see through much of the bs being spoon fed them 24/7. I have a friend i keep trying to tell this but they dont even care enough to want to know what is going on around them. It is frustrating at times.

     I think that too many Americans believe that we can't be invaded, or that the government can stop anything without help from citizens, and/or that our own government won't go full blown tyrannical.

      That's the same mistake many nations have made; ancient Roman Empire, Babylon, Russia, Germany, Greece, Persia, many countries.

The only way to stop any/all of this is to get involved; and I'm not talking about just the anti-gun laws or the 2A.  You've got to make your voice heard: at the school board, town hall, county council, and state (representative and Senator) level.  You've got to advocate for history, civics and classes on the Constitution to be taught in schools.  You've got to make sure that commies aren't teaching our kids.  You've got to make sure textbooks aren't slanted against America.  Examine your kids' textbooks to see what they're learning at school.  Make sure elected officials know how you feel, and get others to also communicate their opinions.

 

You've got to speak out against Agenda 21 or the newer Sustainable Development controls... which are nothing more than UN programs to get us lined up with the New World Order.  You've got to advocate for the USA to maintain it's sovereignty in the face of "global governance"... that our Constitution is the supreme law of this country and anything that diminishes it, like the freedom to collect rain water, or drink milk straight from the cow, is to be  resisted at all costs.

 

You can start by connecting with your family, friends and people in your fraternal organizations or at church.  It's a big job, but it's a lot easier to get up-to-speed on issues and speak out at meetings, than it is to shoulder a weapon and fight your fellow countrymen.  Donate to Gun Owners of America or other organizations who will fight these battles in the courts.  Politics is a game of maneuver; and right now we're being severely outplayed.

I see the unity and resolve of our beautiful nation is rising to an antagonist in likes we have seen before, but my bets are on the People, on you America.  Unfortunately: We are divided as a nation and in many ways but it is a product of our transgressions to other nations and to our selves and is no wonder the People fell asleep.  We are now as a nation being tested on our integrity.  Are you free? Are you brave?  Dare I ask; Are you America?

 

All Nations should be free, all forms of tyranny should be eradicated, our God given rights as human beings should never be taken from us by an equal of our nature but there will always be tyrants who will strip us of our rights and put us in bonds. It is up to the People whether they are going to roll over or take a bite. My bets are on the People because history proves the colors of a tyrant always fall to the People.
