National HAM Radio Frequency

Like the title suggests We as a whole need to have a few common frequencies based on region for the American Minute, Patriots, and Miitiamen. This would in the event of SHTF WORL, u name it. We would be able to stay in contact disperse intel, rally troops/supplies and coordinate efforts to achieve mission success.

 

Lets first discuss How to operate radios, Types of radios, and Regional Frequencies.

 

This is a matter of the utmost importance as far as an organized Militia or union of militias.

Ham radio is awesome.

Definitely an asset. I recommend all groups to utilize them.

We utilize them and cannot speak highly enough.

Currently running certain simplex frequencies. 

Would love to know how others are set up.

I've got a Baofeng UV-5RE Plus.  I know, it's junk.  It was given to me - and I hope to get a better one.  But for now (and without license) it works.  I've dabbled a bit with HAM Radio.  I need a quick start on this and a freq that we all agree on to comm.  As I'm very green to this, I'll let the experts tell me what I need to know, buy or do.  Thanks!
