Militias vs Prepper Groups

In my opinion, there should be close links between the two. In fact, the name 'militia' is off-putting to many: a rose by any other name, would smell as sweet. So

why not follow the example of these people, who sound like they know what they are doing:

I agree, if people in your area are skittish about the M word even though they shouldn't be, call it something else.  Many people are also calling them MAGs Mutual Assistance Groups.

That is what we use.  Militia's tend to derail and not focus on what's important.   So a mag group can work together on homesteading and making food and survival.   

 

Without the homesteads you end up with nothing but groups eating mre and maybe they get to a fight...
