I use to have a version of it also. Mine had a yellow cover. Loaned it to step father and as far as i know he still has it. Had some usefull information. Mine was a feild guide however. It covered more survival techniques. Had stuff more on the lines of knots, shelter and so forth. Hadnt thought much about it until you posted this . May need to see if he still has it never fot around to reading it in its entirety.
