Also another thing for anyone to really consider if worried about food, is learning how to hunt, if you cant afford to stock up commercial grade MRES, or can your own food,  knowing how to hunt comes in handy, especially with a wild hog population in America that is pretty much open to hunt year round.   For the same amount one pays for a pallet of Commercial grade MRES, one could have started to purchase a rifle and watch some youtube videos on hunting.

Anyways who gives a damn about what party the sheep vote for.  Preppers are those who understand that the militia concept doesnt work because most militias dont have any logistics.  

 

You know what a year supply of food looks like for a family of four.    No not MRE which you would die if you did that.  Also not mountain house either. Mountain house sells a lie.  They only sell meals based on 1400 calories a day.  You wont be doing to well with that low of food.

 

But the amount of time and energy to grow a gardens big enough to sustain your.  The skills of canning food and storage for all of it.  It's a huge undertaking that most people wont understand or achieve. 

 

Hoarding.... well your getting a glimpse and we warned you what people will do for black friday sales.  What you expect people to do when it's life and death. 

Don't paint too optimistic of a picture, lol.

more over, i really wish there was some kind of survey to find out if said hoarders where democrats or republicans. i think that would be very telling.

Prepping is a never ending task and a Prepper is never fully prepped. I have spent the last 12 years securing remote acreage, building the off grid framework, securing a reliable water source, learning and practicing the art of canning and preserving what you grow, curing and smoking meats mostly from game hunting...Am I really prepared? that's a definate no. Hoarders are reactionary for the moment, still scratching my head about TP hoarding. My father was conservative as I am. My grandfather taught me the skills of primitive black powder marksmanship. That skill alone will keep meat on the table for less than 2 cents a shot. I live a modest and private life, I love God, I love and help my neighbor. Keep your trust in God, be skeptical of even your friends and neighbors when SHTF, and be safe Patriots.
