Yes, that is a great way of putting it. A growing number of media outlets are stating that either the Chinese Communist Party knew about this virus, or were actively involved in designing it as a weapon against western economies. Now, the more pressing question is; what will come out of this? Will the US and NATO and their allies some day go to war against China? It does seem unlikely, but with the never ending trade war (including two of my fellow Canadian citizens who languish in a Chinese prison on trumped up espionage charges), the Hong Kong Protests, threats to Taiwan and now this, all bets are off. But hopefully not.
