"This, with the militia look here, and these long guns, uh... no. Show of force is dangerous. That puts our police at risk. And by the way, your message will never be heard, whoever you people are."

Yah, I heard Hannity on SiriusXM radio earlier in the day talking about the Patriots in Michigan. He said he supported the "protesters" and further said he is a staunch supporter of the 2nd...BUT...carrying long guns is not the way for them to make their case...I am sorely disappointed in Hannity, I was under the belief he was a Patriot, not a part timer! As soon as I heard the words come out of his mouth, I changed the channel to Ozzy's Boneyard to rinse the bad noise out of my ears!

I agree that 'show of force' is dangerous.  He's not completely off base in that statement.  But, at the same time... that's part of the reason for show of force.  Granted, we do run the risk of some crazy or commie coming into such events and popping off a few rounds with these types of events.  In some ways, I count ourselves lucky we haven't had any 'accidents' at these events.  The thing that angers me is this rhetoric that we are trying force change at the end of a barrel.  Nobody at these rallies has raised their rifle or pistol in the direction of anyone.  What if everyone started attending these events with baseball bats?  Would that make them happy?  A gun is no more dangerous than a baseball bat... the danger is the one handling said items... whether properly or improperly.  A baseball bat isn't a threat until I threaten you with it and start swinging it at you.  Otherwise, I just have a baseball bat.   The same goes for a rifle or pistol.  It isn't a threat until I threaten you with it and point it at you.

I'm also agitated by the fact that they talk about the Nazi flags and 'Confederate' flags at the rally as though the people waving them are doing so in support of Nazism or Racism.  They know better, of course, but... their mouth breather audience doesn't realize that if a Nazi symbol shows up at a rally it is because the people protesting are calling the person they are protesting a Nazi.  That being said... I'd rather people not bring such things to rallys even if they are being used to criticize the tyrants in office.  It's a photo opportunity for the left and it doesn't help our cause.

That being said... if he's advocating that we just keep doing the same thing we've been doing for the past few decades... he's clueless or intentionally trying to derail the movement in order to re-establish the status quo.

If you want to talk optics, remember 1/20/20 at Richmond. I live near there and was there. Haven't been around that much firepower since my days as a 60 gunner in the 80's. Couldn't have felt safer. Didn't see one in all those 50K plus that mishandled a weapon. That said, I cringed when Hannity started his spew. My view is it lets the commies know we're out there. That's a signal that can't be ignored. Sure some asshole might do something stupid, but stupid happens all the time. The people are hurting, and not knowing what lies around the bend has sent them to the streets. Ask them who makes them feel safer on the street at these times of not knowing when they may lose everything.

If someone wants to hurt someone, they'll do it with or without a gun.

Whether Hannity is on base some or not, I've thought for years he's a superficial flake concerning his profession, just one more political pawn and ratings raiser, and probably a puppet for the CIA under 'Operation Mockingbird'.

You can tell he's never been behind the scenes on the street and seen what really goes on.

From experience, I think many cops are more prone to get trigger happy than most civilians.

Hannity probably still believes the official 911 report, which, incidentally, is no more, or less, conspiratorial than was the Holecaust, which was kept secret throughout most of the Second World War.

Why doesn’t Hannity condemn the militarized cops, who use show of force to intimidate and subdue; those who are exercising their constitutional rights to free speech?

Example: the Texas sheriff with the tank who with drawn guns arrested bar owner and those armed civilians with him.

Salon owner has kids to feed, as do her employees. That alone is a responsibility if neglected would or could land her in jail. So her business is essential, to her and her employees. Judge told her she would be released if she apologized. What? Bow down to a commie for trying to pay bills and feed her family. Same judge freed convicts so they wouldn't get sick. Don't insult dogs by calling that judge a dog. Point made.

His ratings would go down. He caters to the sheeple, rather than the truth.

Whether show of force is right or wrong (as though the government doesn't do the same), what does Hannity's statement sound like? Sounds to me like he wants a conditional First and Second Amendment, maybe only for select people.

"WHEN THE PEOPLE FEAR THE GOVERNMENT, THERE IS TYRANNY. WHEN THE GOVERNMENT FEARS THE PEOPLE, THERE IS LIBERTY".

Either way, Hannity presents, at best, a superficial truth, aka facade. He's either bought, paid for and on strings or is very naive.

It is a shame The People don't know who to trust anymore. The old saying is "take it with a grain of salt". I take anymore salt and I am going to keel over from an anurism!

With the new Bill they just Introduced violates the Constitution as a whole (HR 6666). They have been showing Extreme Intimidation of Force to We The People. That is what needs to be done. As far as the 2nd Amendment goes, there is no limitations to our Rights. If we limit our Rights We will lose them all

I've listened to Sean's radio program, and faithfully watched his FOX show, for many years.  But this takes it over the edge.  We are aware that Sean carries concealed, in New York City, no less.  That ... in and of itself is a protest - an armed protest.  This is why he singled out "long guns", so that his invisible protest would seem valid, and visible protests would not.  I've already taken him to task over this, online, and I never ... NEVER ... get through to his radio program.

I am more convinced daily that 2020 will be the year that makes, or breaks the United States of America.   Sean, it time to choose which side you are on ...

Yeah, I agree with that. With the election coming up and all these governors going rogue on their people and as of now, no end in sight, the pressure is really ramping up on The People! We have to ensure the sheeple don't chart the course for our future! I know I am going to talk to as many folks as I can about our direction.

I used to listen to Hannity, Miller and Beck, on WOWO about every day, but my schedule changed so now I seldom can.

What turned me off to Hannity was his berating those who question the validity of the official 911 Commission Report.

I'll provide an essay I wrote in college and let that speak for that matter itself, adding only that I think Hannity fell prey to the spirit of a system which has become, larg ed ly, a guise:

Their Is no difference between the left and the right.

That depends on the model you're using to make that statement.  Our left and right is more and more mirroring the left and right of Europe.  That's why they get away with calling Fascism and Nazism far right wing ideologies.  Sure, they're right wing on the European spectrum where true Conservatives don't exist.  On the American spectrum, Nazism and Fascism are both large government left wing political systems.  They're both forms of Socialism.

I am not talking about the ideals of what the two parties claim to be. I am talking about what they both become.    They have no difference in the agenda to take your guns and freedoms away and tell you how to live.

It’s all the cowards that run up there and then put their hands in the air that’s diluting the message. Cowardly trying to be cool kids. Wait till the men step up to the plate. Message will be heard, I guarantee it

What is the reason for openly carrying long arms at a demonstration?

You can get a lot further in life with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.

A show of force like anything else.  Why do cops and military carry long rifles.

Because they can, for one. A sense of suppression may be the other. When a  animal feels threatened or cornered you will see it's teeth. Only those there could explain their actions. I have no problem with it. At Richmond the VCDL asked that people leave them at home. They didn't. I saw several people carrying two, bolt action slung and AR15 in their hands. Of course the circumstances were different. Living at this time when people feel they are being stepped on at every turn, probably is the most logical guess.
