@ Doug1943 , you're correct in saying we need to have more focus with the legal side, because, we have to assert our undeniable moral authority against those who wish to paint us in a stained light. Though, this being a undeniable fact we as in the Constitutional Patriots (I have no idea who or what team you're rooting for or why you're even here) are fighting a rigged game and it's up to us, the citizens of this great country to quite being naive to the truth or even worse willfully ignorant to this reality. So this being said, we're going to get nowhere if we continue to play the same game. That game being continueing to pander to how we look, pandering to how we operate, pandering for permissions, ect.... No matter how many lawers, congressman, governors, we have on our side it's not going to change ANYTHING, but we must continue to assert our moral authority and quite pandering.

So when your types come in here and try to assert your point, you don't even know what you don't know. You talk in a way that only continues the pandering and that's not what we're meant to do as Americans. This isn't an opinion it's just a point that goes against the grane of those who wish to continue to change America for the worst. Incrementally opposition has weaseled it's poisonous point of view into the legal system, which in turn has weaseled into our communities. This being true has changed public opinion of what should and shouldn't be, so when you tell me that's not what America is, no, that's what America has let it self become because the ones before me didn't care enough to continue to enforce/assert what it is to be an American and what America stands for. We don't pander to weakness, you'd be right to think we do this day in age because that's what happens when you don't enforce what it is to be strong and just.

So, you're right and you're wrong. But there is no room for naivety or willfully ignorance. That being said we all need to put aside the petty polarizing bulshit that we hold against those who don't think the same as we do. We must organize, unite, and fight against the tyranny that is there whether you choose to see it or not.

Darn it!  I see you're making an argument against what I've had to say ... but I don't understand it.  "(I have no idea who or what team you're rooting for or why you're even here)"

Really? I think I've said somewhere -- no reason you should have seen it -- that although I've thought of myself as a conservative for the last thirty years, I'm probably closer to being a JFK Democrat than anything else. Not that that means much to most people nowadays.

So I'm not hostile to all unions on principle, I'm for civil rights for Blacks, I'm for a non-interventionist foreign policy, but for a strong defense, for the minimum wage, for a massive infrastructure project, against unlimited free trade on principle when it destroys working class communities, generally pro-police but for measures to stop the brutality, for free speech, for school vouchers, for letting 'marriage' mean something performed by a religious group parallel to getting a legal contract, against school prayer in public schools and for letting private schools do whatever they like.  Very much pro-capitalism, and for a capitalism that draws in everyone.

But ... I don't think my views on these issues, or yours, should define who can and should be in the militia movement.  Basically, I am for common sense, civility and civilization, and the Hard Left, aided and abetted by progressives, is destroying those things.  I hope the militia movement will grow and grow, and be part of the resistance to this destruction.

I am a strong believer that we have to grow, by two orders of magnitude.  That we have to protect ourselves from legal attack, which means being familiar with the laws, and with what the enemy is preparing.   I believe that writing stuff like "we have to arrest the governeor and try him for treason" and the equivalent, is done by agents of the enemy, or fools doing their work for free.  I laugh at conspiracy theories -- while I understand that how the world really works, does involve people at the top doing things that are in their interests, not ours ... and they don't advertise this.

I would be very happy if the whole militia movement were run like the Houston Branch of the Texas State Militia.

Anyway, that's what I believe. But I don't think these particular beliefs should be requirements for membership in the militia movement. In fact, the huge majority of the 60 million people who voted Republican in 2016 know very little about the Constitution or any political or economic theory ... they have a deep instinct about what a good country is, how we used to be one, and how this wonderful country is disappearing before their eyes.  These are the people we need to reach, and we don't need to impose any tests on them, other than some simple common sense ones: no criminals, no crazies, no rightwing equivalent of the Weathermen, no racists or anti-Semites or people who cannot work with others who differ from them because of things that no one can help.

It will take patient work to get them, but events will work in our favor.   If we fail, I cannot imagine what America will turn into.  A giant insane asylum maybe.

Not to advertise my own brand, but I truly believe research groups will be very useful for this. As we develop our network and information sharing capabilities we will quickly be able to sort out the bad apples.

We are developing (right now, it's already well underway) a structure for getting information to the places and to the people it needs to go to. Good mail is great, but not if it ends up at the wrong address.

If for example you encounter a bad apple, perhaps some one too reckless, racist, or uncontrollable,  Soon you will have the capacity to inform the research group in your district of any suspicious findings. We can blacklist the shitters very quickly. Pass their photographs along, check into their backgrounds etc. Without a research group they could be anyone. Particular data, their picture, license plate number etc can be gleaned and it won't be too hard for our liaisons and advisors to make some calls, find some contacts in the area they claim to be from, references etc. This is similar to how most other agencies function.

I think we ought to have a separate place for people to put up their theories about the virus and vaccination and chemtrails and 5g and the Jesuits and the British etc etc etc.  Someone who comes across this site and just looks at the main discussion will get the impression that it's a site for conspiracy  theorists.  If that's what it's becoming, then so be it, and I for one will let them get on with it without my sarcastic responses. But I think this site should be about the militia movement, period.

What is the big deal with 5G?

Do a web search, and you will see that some people -- including a couple of hundred scientists -- are worried about safety aspects. That's the saner worry: electromagnetic radiation bears energy, when it penetrates opaque matter it very slightly raises the temperature ... which doesn't mean when you hold your cell phone to your ear you are frying your brain. A teaspoonfull of soil contains millions of uranium atoms, and we're continually being bombarded with 'background radiation'. It's a question of degree.  (You probably know all this anyway.)

So I don't think it's completely crazy to do be concerned about each new technology, chemical, etc that is introduced into our lives,  but the reality is,  almost every investigation has said that there is no significant danger.

But that's the sane worry, ie. medical.

The insane worry is that 5G is connected to the Chinese Communist Virus, maybe through a plot by Bill Gates to control our minds etc etc et.  Here's a link:  [ https://www.vox.com/recode/2020/4/24/21231085/coronavirus-5g-conspiracy-theory-covid-facebook-youtube   ]

We're moving into very extraordinary times -- it's going to be like the 30s again in many ways. Everything will be turned upside down.  Understanding political and social reality is difficult -- so much easier to blame it all on a small group in control of everything. No necessity to read a lot of books then and you get the feeling of superiority because you are 'on the inside'. And it's reinforced by a hundred Hollywood movies, the kind where James Bond battles an evil mastermind who lives in a secret hideout on an island, etc.   The problem with this is that it leads to passivity.

But ... the conspiracy theorists are right in a basic sense: there is a lot going on behind the scenes that is not publicized, the mainstream media lie, rich people have a thousand time as much influence on the government, including the 'conservative' parties, than they should ,etc etc.  In other words, the conspiracy theorists know that the patient is ill, but they think a witch has put a spell on the poor fellow. Rather, we must look for a real cause.

And myf concern is that these people have a lot of time on their hands, and can appear to dominate discussion here, which will drive non-conspiracy theorists (the great majority) away from us.

It's almost as if there is a conspiracy ....

Non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation doesn't work that way, it can only heat an object that has moisture in it such as your body, that is why we have zones around cell sites, based on Specific Absorption Rates (SAR), any absorption rate that exceeds 1.6 watts per kilogram is considered above the public absorption rate and with most tower mounted antenna systems the rate on the ground at the site is well below that rate.

One of the tasks I am assigned is annually I must visit each one of our (AT&T Wireless) sites in my turf and take SAR measurements to ensure they do not exceed the public exposure levels.

The real problem comes in on roof-top sites as one can go out on the roof and walk right in front of active antennas, so by rule the door to the roof must be locked to keep the general public off the roof and a warning sign similar to this must be installed on the inside side of the door warning of the possible danger on the roof.

sar.thumb.jpg.be8408ec60559bf164ead3306528a2cc.jpg

Now another problem is few people realize 5G is really 4G with an upgraded channel bonding system, excepting millimeter wave 5G operates on the same frequencies, the only real difference is how many channels are assigned, if I remember with 5G it can be as many as 6 channels down and 4 channels up, this is known as Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), the reason for this each channel can only provide so much bandwidth and people want more, so by bonding multiple channels we can provide a greater bandwidth.

The down side is we have to change the downtilt and lower the power of the macro sites so we can make the foot print smaller and then backfill the now non-covered areas with fill in sites known as mini or micro sites, so what we end up with is a wireless network consisting of a macro site surrounded by mini and micro sites. Literally some of the micro sites are installed to serve a single building, where I live I am outside of the range of the macro site, so I have a micro site in my home.

Millimeter wave is a totally different beast, I doubt it will ever be used for mobile service as it has extremely short range because of the wavelength, but it is very capable of providing fixed wireless internet using what is known as beam-forming, cell sites have three sectors Alpha, Beta and Gamma each one is 120 degrees wide, if you look a any cellular antenna you will notice the halo has three sides, commonly three two receive (diversity) and a transmit antenna.

Now beam-forming  use's sectors that are only a few degrees wide, if you had fixed wireless internet you and a next door neighbor could be on one beam and the guy across the street be on another and unlike cellular it uses antennas very close to the ground versus 100+ feet up, that untra short range is needed so we can utilize frequency reuse as much as possible.

The insane worry is that 5G is connected to the Chinese Communist Virus, maybe through a plot by Bill Gates to control our minds etc etc et.

Sounds troublesome, however 5G  like 3G and 4G operate on networks that do not traverse the internet, they are internal company networks, that we (AT&T) install and maintain and any intrusion would be quickly noticed by the NOC and I am sure VZ does the same, T-Mobile not so much their system utilizes transport by other carriers sometimes us and VZ.

There is nothing really too bad about that other than they are allowing their traffic to travel outside of their network which makes snooping a lot easier and when something breaks they are stuck with waiting for someone else to repair the problem.

Because there are billions of revenue riding those networks and we guard them very well, they are stud horses, furthermore operations and maintenance (OAM), data, and voice ride on their own EVPN's, so even if someone nefarious had access to the fiber to a site they would be hard pressed just to monitor the traffic nor less get into it and poison something.

Now that doesn't mean your traffic cannot be monitored, if handed the right paperwork our corporate security people will provide what we in the field call a sideport, which means your traffic is tapped internally and sent to the agency who served us up with the proper paperwork.

As such, never, ever, consider any form of communications, even if you encrypt it, to be secure, if you need to transfer information that must stay secure, it must be done in person and then still be careful.

I work for the company, which is why my personal data and voice communications are provided by another carrier, I have known employees who have been fired based on data collected from a company device usage. They have no problems monitoring us and if they wish can do the same to you.

True story, long before I went to work for the BST, I was known to be a real PIA for Southern Bell,

I went to work for SB after I dropped out of High School, then AT&T was broken up and I was transferred from a Central Office, to the motor pool, I went from working in a nice clean air conditioned office to working in a garage greasing and changing the oil in phone trucks, I developed an attitude, they got an equal attitude and canned me, that didn't help my attitude very much at all.

But I stayed in communications, I became part of a new network of people who where doing long distance bypassing, for a small fee you could connect your Bulletin Board system, think pre-Internet forums, to one of my incoming lines and I would relay your data to another like minded person who was on the edge of my free call LATA, the data would enter his system and be relayed further somewhere else, we where cutting Southern Bell out of a lot of long distance revenue, and they didn't like that very much, well security came down on me. I had another 4 lines installed in my home for a total of twelve, when the tech was done I got out by Buttset and checked to make sure each line was working, they where, the SB technician demanded to know where I got my Buttset, I told him SPRINT North Supply, he advised me they where illegal to own, I advised him to get his Union arse back in his truck and go away, he did and a few days later SB Security showed up at my door.

The guy from security was an a-hole, a retired FBI agent who was going to teach a long haired hippy punk not to screw with the phone company, he demanded I have all of my lines reinstalled as business lines, he stated they monitored my lines and they where all connected to modems and he demanded I turnover to him my legally owned personal property, my buttset, the guy pissed me off and I went off the handle, I wasn't making a profit, just breaking even and screwing the phone company that fired me, he realized I was going to get violent and exited and while in the process told me all of my lines would be disconnected, if I did not convert them to business lines.

That threat began the war, I contacted the Florida Public Service Commission, I explained what happened and most went over the call takers head, but what stuck was they tapped my lines, the following day I received a call from someone in Atlanta profusely apologizing for the companies error and I was assured my lines would not be disconnected.

Good, then about a year later I had a problem with Florida Power & Light, the transformer that supplied my home and three others was overloaded and I had way too many outages in a short three months, FP&L told me to take a hike, I called the Florida PSC and filed another complaint.

An hour or so later I got a call from Atlanta, it was SB wanting to know if there was a problem with my lines, I told them no just a problem with the power company, after I hung up I realized they where still monitoring my lines.

Lawyers have been mentioned a few times already peppered through out the forum, at this point in time, if any kind of lawyer has not reached out, it is probably time if this site really needs and wants it, for the admin and moderators to look into finding the proper lawyer ( s ) for this site, and the start feeling out who would be interested in joining if anyone, and or maybe paying a lawyer to occasionally do a moderated live Q & A on here.

Also something simple for active recruiting militias can do is a basic criminal and dmv background check on people, ask for references not of friends but of employers, and when calling said references to just treat it as an employment reference and not advertise that this on behalf of a militia or etc.  The last thing i would offer,  is I have read  that, to really build trust with in a NGO group or in this case a militia to talk and plan for scenarios , etc, is to really build a trust for at least 7 years before trusting what is basically a stranger with any real information. The idea is, that is way too much time for any agency to really invest in sending an operative .  granted that thought might be total bullshit, it is merely a suggestion is all.  An lastly just making sure you are not letting in mentally unstable people and or racists into ones organization .
