The Guardian is Pro Militia sometimes...

Apparently MyMilitia members have the wrong skin color and political ideology.  If we were leftists with different genetics... we would be celebrated and praised by the progressive publication.

Sarah Anthony’s escort. The lawmaker said her experience during the rightwing protest was ‘one of the most unnerving feelings I’ve ever felt in my life’.

“When traditional systems, whether it’s law enforcement or whatever, fail us, we also have the ability to take care of ourselves,” she told the Guardian. Anthony became the first African American woman elected to represent her district in Lansing, Michigan’s capital, in 2018.

I thought the quote from Rep. Anthony was funny... because, that could be the same exact words a business owner might use during the Covid Panic.

It's okay for me but not for thee.  Hypocrite.

Well spotted!

Of course the Left absolutely swooned over those tough masculine Black Panthers fifty years ago ... even though they were just a  teeny bit male chauvinist, and didn't quite have the right outlook on homosexuals.  The hard Left supported Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver for President in 1968 on the Peace and Freedom Party ticket, even though he was a convicted rapist. (But it was okay because it was white women he raped ... a kind of reparations. Anyway he said he was sorry.)

But there is a better example of a genuine militia, formed for an absolutely legitimate reason: the Deacons for Defense and Justice. The Panthers were mainly ghetto lumpens, but the Deacons really were pillars of their community, and were driven to their actions by necessity, namely, a government that did not function as their defender.

You can get a lot further in life with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.
