Communications

In the equipment section of the forums, I do not see a communications subject.

Who can ad one or can we add it?

With any organization, business etc. the key to success is communications.

If all other types of communications fail, cell phones, hard lines, etc...

The only one's that may survive or at least the last to be turned off will be CB's radio's, walkie talkies and my favorite, Ham radios.

I recently bought a portable hand held, taking an on line class for it, will get a licensed to be able to legally talk to anyone around the world, cool.

Very interesting and super handy in a crisis situation. And if never a  crisis, at least it will be a fun hobby.

Just wondering if there could be a subject forum in Equip. dedicated to comms.

 

A general discussion on what to use, buy, program, etc. Research and Info, etc. would be good to share.

 

PS: I'm not afriad of the "Big Brother". Hell they have every bit of info on me they could possible have for the last 40 years, without a colonoscopy...LOL. If they want me they know where to find me.

 

And as long as they don't turn this country into a socialist communist country, they have nothing to fear from me.

 

I support the constitution 100% to which I will protect and defend our nation from such tyranny, foreign or domestic.

i like the idea though just reminded me of The Terminator  haha 

we’ll use two way radio in the general areas and hopefully be able to check in here on a larger scale for news
