Aspects and assumptions of whiteness and white culture

Recommended Posts

I wouldnt believe it if I didnt see it with my own eyes. This is a legit pamphlet on "whiteness" from the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Its not a joke, its not a "meme"....

its still up on the nmaahc.si.edu website.

I just saw a YouTube video which featured this “white culture pamphlet” — it was titled “African American museum is racist towards their own people”... I am actually wondering now who is responsible for writing this pamphlet?  And did they know this was going to cause some commotion?

The problem with black culture as a whole these days (not ALL blacks, just the overall culture) is one of blame. It's not their fault really, they have been groomed by the welfare state that if they don't get their stuff via handout or government then it's someone else's fault. The culture as a whole is trying to paint whites and blacks that are successful as the enemy and "Uncle Toms". It's very easy to point to say "I'm not successful because of ________" than to take personal responsibility and then try to make yourself better. White people are not holding blacks down, blacks are holding blacks down and it's all by design. This is going to be the underlying reason we have to go to war again, I for one am not going to take the blame for something I've never done (slavery). We went to war to free the blacks now we have to go war to free the whites.

What're you waiting for? Storm the Smithsonian and burn those pamphlets.

Or don't. Those pamphlets seem to be something we should be proud of. We need ones for blackness which can describe the welfare state.

Those pamphlets pretty much spell out exactly how "most" of us are so I dont get what their objective was in creating it.
