I believe communication through the new updated Zoom application would be beneficial...

To plan more and do more, we could have online Zoom meetings, and organize a lot better, they now have better Encryption algorithms as well, so it would be a good idea that way we have more live communication of everyone and their parts.

 

What would you all say to this since they did fix the Encryption algorithms especially?

I would not condone use of Zoom at this time it is fraught with security problems and it's owned by communist China and 30% of their personnel on Zoom are in communist China.  There is a new communication vehicle coming out real soon probably the end of September or early October called viewer( Vuwr).  Vuwr is made and maintained here in the United States unfortunately since it's not going public yet there's no further information at this time.

For any new potential inductee, in the pipeline for membership, I'd have an official in-person link-up, interview, and exchange of public encryption keys generated on site and not uploaded to a public key server, as well as a subsequent background investigation and follow-on investigations as warranted.  I'd not conduct any business over unsecured channels and pgp/gpg keys would need to be regenerated once said recruit was sworn in and perhaps every year to two years after that depending on their position..

Discord  is another platform that could be considered. American based in San Francisco, CA. I’ve used it and have no problem recommending it.

 

Consider for a moment that we don’t give a crap about what the government see’s, because more than likely they will see it, will infiltrate (if they choose to) and will monitor. It doesn’t matter.

 

Consider the task at hand folks. There is civil war brewing by known and unknown enemies of the constitution. Antifa, BLM and radical “Democrats” to name a few...Not to mention foreign enemies like China and Russia.

 

I think preparing to respond to these (Domestic) entities would be received well by like minded individuals, it’s current and relevant. I think the true meaning of a militia is better defined in this manner. Perhaps even the government might welcome help from a lawful militia in  this capacity!

 

Rather than being stagnate, as the situation seems, let’s agree on a platform, define its weaknesses, implement a policy to address the use of that platform properly to do our business. Any items deemed to sensitive to discuss on said platform can be conveyed via another form of communication.

Let me add my two cents

 

We have the use of the Discord server through this site. So we are already utilizing that avenue. As far as the Gov't over reaching and sticking there nose where it doesn't belong, that is already happening with every single Technological Advancement. There is no safe space to speak about anything except One-on-One. 

 

We already have a page set up on MyMilitia for Militia Leaders to start working on COMMS. Nothing High Level, just to keep each other up to date about what is going on in their areas.

 

I am not trying to bust anyone's butt over any of this, I just don't understand why everyone thinks they can reinvent the wheel. COMMS is a very delicate issue for our side. I am doing what I can to get this all going so we can be a little more Organized. I have communicated with several state and have pretty much activated a good portion of Tennessee with COMMS.
