It's on the internet. I can't remember exactly where, but I know it was out there at one point. Try googling "internal poll democrats 2019" or something like that. You might find it that way.

Yep found it on red state.

socialism bad - capitalism good

or so says the polling.  Offers hope that America isn't through yet!!

There are a few reasons I think California is in play. First, let's remember that it wasn't that long ago California was a purple state, and could swing either way. Arnold Schwarzenegger was a left-leaning Republican governor, but a Republican nonetheless. And shall we not forget Ronald Reagan, who was Governor of Cali before he became President. The state was red for him. The northern part of the state still is, and the southern part is getting disgusted with what they're seeing in Democrat-infested cities like San Francisco.

But the big reason? GAVIN NEWSOM. This guy has the whole state pissed at him, enough that it's possible he won't even be around by election time. If the whole state is on the warpath against the Democrat governor, you can be sure the party is going to feel it up and down the ballot.

I have nothing solid to base what I'm saying on; I've seen no polling and am pulling this completely out of my ass--call it a hunch.

But I think it's very possible.

The demographics of California have massively changed since both the Reagan and Arnold days.  America in general is a very different country than it was from 2003-2006 especially given the proximity to 9/11.  Hell, back in that era California was still regularly voting in slight majority to prohibit gay marriage (era of Proposition 8).  A significant number of Conservatives have left California.  There has been a mass influx of left leaning voters via immigration policies and a generation of marxists produced in the public school system to bolster the ranks.  Many of the Patriotic voters of the previous era are pushing daisies and voting democrat now.  Twenty years is a long time in politics.

We live in the Post 2008 era of Hope and Change.  I don't think California will ever go purple... let alone red.  Don't under-estimate the power of TDS.

That's possible.

Im more inclined to think if it goes red it'll be because 50% of blue voters were so discusted by biden and so unenthusiastic they stayed home.

plus the huge enthusiasm of trump supporters.

Oh I know, and you're right of course. I'm just seeing a lot of odd things from odd quarters, and people of all political stripes truly are growing tired of Newsom already. I'm not saying it's likely; just that it seems possible.
