Why is the Arizona State Militia NOT established in Navajo and Apache county?

Recommended Posts

In my attempt to join the ASM I came across this disappointing statement.

"Despite our attempts we have been unable to coordinate starting a unit in Cochise,Navajo and Apache counties. Until we can meet individuals that want to assist in setting up a new unit we will not be processing applications in these areas."

How can this be?

Contact them and offer to help in setting up a new unit. Not sure you'll find enough active members but it's worth a try. You'd have to at least include Navajo and Apache counties. I'm in Apache county. Big thing out here is distances and the reservations. Not sure how the res police would feel about militias meeting and training on the res for example. Or about folks travelling through the res with their gear, on the way to a militia training. Other option is joining the 928 area code militia and maybe Northern AZ Militia. Also be sure to check out https://hq.civiliandefenseforce.org/ Good resource that is just starting up.
