Protestors in Roxboro

In the Roxboro area there have been protest concerning the monument, as well as the police shooting of David Brooks Jr. It was a justified shooting according to the SBI. There are several groups here that have been formed to protest "racial injustices" in Person county. The group names are as follows; T.B.R. The Black Revolutionist and P.A.I.R. Personians Against Injustices and Racism, it is a 501(c)3 organization. P.A.I.R. is a moderate organization and isn't a threat but the TBR group seems to have violent intentions. There was a group out of Raleigh NC that came to Roxboro called NC BORN, they brought incendiary devices, molotov cocktails, with intentions to burn Roxboro. They were locked up and their cars were impounded. Also, the locals have formed a New Black Panther Party. They are looking for a fight, a reason to be outraged.
