                            A Test

In 1774, men began to declare liberty

In 2020, men are beginning to beg for safety

In 1776, they took the word of the truly wise

In 2020, a single authority’s word will suffice

In 1942, men embarked to save the world

In 2020, men are kicking the world

In 2001, men ran freely into burning buildings

In 2020, men scurry masked into isolated buildings

In 1965, men peacefully spoke and protested

In 2020, men violently loot and attack

The day given is the same for all, in all times, eras and ages,

Yet what we see is that one rises while the other falls

So, when all is said and done what will Americans say,

That they lost their way of life or that they nobly strove with every single day?

Blessed is the man that takes advantage of liberty and prosperity

Cursed is the man that is tempted into perfidy and infamy

Man is here for a moment, fleeting like a shadow, the hour glass never stopping, precious time, sacredly lent, yet like grains of sand slipping through his fingers,

So one asks, what is the point?

What is this foisted drama?

What is this short time given for?

 Let the answer here be declared, to the cowardly and daring a like, to all with ears willing to hear and hearts willing to accept,

It is a test from Man

It is a test from GOD

In the arena, we call life

On the stage, we call the world

We are but dust and blood;

We are but bone and marrow;

We are but a single beating heart;

We are but fragile limb and muscle

But there is a spark that infuses us with something greater to meet this challenge, to accept this drama, in this arena, on this stage,

This heat and fire touches us all

It is the divine and nature’s sacred call

It is virtue, valor, wisdom and justice all

But who is willing to find it, hold it and keep it?

History tells the story:

Wide is the way to defeat and disgrace, and many take it

Large is the gate that accepts them in their new horrid place

Narrow is the way to glory and victory, and few take it

Small is the door that accepts them onto their new champion’s floor

God and posterity is on the other side,  waiting before that gate, waiting before that door, so what will we say?

Say, I missed the test

Say, I didn’t know it was a test

Say, I couldn’t see the test

Say, I couldn’t come to believe it was a test

Say, I didn’t have the strength to meet the test

I AM SORRY!

Patriots will win eventually. The question is how much innocent blood may be shed before that happens? I, as a Christian, rest on His Word that I must be part of standing up against Satan's minions. I pray that many others realize that  very soon.
