What is it that the LI Militia wants?

·         A republic on our island that has laws equally applied to all its peoples.

How does the LI Militia obtain a republic?

·         It guards our current one, by our words, by our vote, by our civil service, and if need be, by laying down the lives of those who would destroy our republic.

When would the LI Militia act to defend the beloved island and our republic?

·         Short answer, always.

·         Longer answer, whenever someone says to tear this republic down, we offer a solution to fortify and build this republic up. Every year and every special election, we vote. We know who our local guy is and we vote them in. Whenever we are called upon to the jury or asked to volunteer to help any of our citizens, we will do it, whether its medical, fire, protection, even if they’re just hungry or cold, we will help. Annual marches to show strength (after we’ve confirmed that we have strength) Showing up against any anti-republic (not Republican) Protest, or any regular mobs, or any foreign invasion of our beloved island and to defend it with arms if necessary.

Where would the LI Militia do these things?

·         Here, and only here. This is our home; we will love, cherish, and protect it.

Why would the LI Militia take on so much risk?

·         So our children and grandchildren can enjoy the liberties our parents and grandparents squandered.

Who is to be part of the LI Militia?

·         Men of good character. Physically and mentally able. Living on, or intending to live on Long Island. Above the age of 17. Preferably serving with honor in law enforcement, as a firefighter, in any medical field, or in the military. However, all are welcome.

 

These are just my thoughts - the thoughts of a simple merchant. I’ve been known to change my thoughts upon further review or new evidence. Please guys, give me food for thought. Let us be well-rounded and let us know what the guy next to us is all about. We can either hang together or be hung alone.

Thoughts post reading this...if you’re to hang, I’ll be hanging next to you, brother.

I believe there are many people like us on this island and I think we need to start finding them.

People have to be willing to put themselves out there. It’s scary - now in particular, with the way the media portrays men who love their country enough to draw blood for her. However, in a time like this, when freedom is at stake, we have to not only put ourselves out there – we have to volunteer to be on the front lines and stand in the gap between tyranny and freedom. I hope that you fellas get more active. You’re here because you realize that there is strength in numbers – but us staying quietly behind our computers will accomplish nothing. We must, should, and will, meet. It’s the ninth hour, the stage is set, and we have no local leader or training regimen. I don’t know the names, the skill set, let alone the beliefs, of the men I plan on standing shoulder to shoulder with. I am not capable or worthy of leading. Somebody, hopefully one of yous guys, will step up and take leadership of the 631 and have this meeting set up.
