I really am a Dangerous Drummer.

Recommended Posts

Why my username? In my youth I was a rock and roll drummer. After I got tired of being around drunks and irresponsible musicians I taught myself programming and networking. My software development became accepted and I launched a business that focused on data transmission of medical data using encryption and compression. This gave me the money to purchase firearms and reloading equipment and also start competition shooting. A few years ago I competed in Raton NM at the NRA Whittington center where I placed 1st in my class both days of a two day shoot. I also attempted and completed the shot at the "white buffalo" which is a 1123 yd shot. I did not use a scope and made the shot on the 16 in spotter on the third try proving good ammo and practice pays off big time. While I am by no means an expert I have skills that I am willing to share if asked. I currently reside in area code 251.

I got a tee shirt and later while wearing it someone asked how I could shoot a white buffalo. Ironically, it was when I visited a club to see some of my musician friends playing there. It reminded me that the music business was really a seedy environment  and why I studied computers and programming and became a staunch conservative that loves my God and values hard work.  My father taught me two valuable life lesson through strict  military type discipline.

1. Never trust a man that lies, he will steal and a man that will steal will murder.

2. Measure a man by not what he has, but by the quality of his work.

Both are very good rules to live by. In my early 20s I spent plenty of time at local night clubs and bars. Mostly just i was good friends with the bouncers. After both seeing the things that went on and hearing stories from my friends. This was the start of my faith in God and living as right as can be possible.  Also hey very nice to meet you here.
