Make sure the platform is sturdy. It needs solid material under those legs and good drainage for the ground around it. 110 gallons of water is 880 lbs.

A flat 20x20 rooftop will give you a little over 248 gallons of water from a one inch rain event.

Seen that design before fixer, some good ideas there, liked the one with the chain.

 

As an aside, i remember seeing one idea that really was an old idea. Out west the mexicans would build a square tower that held water at the top, and if i remember correctly had a roof over that. I believe with the water being sucked up by

 

humidity, somehow or other if would bring in cooler air around from the sides of the tower, thus having a kind of air conditioner.
