A D G has too many noncombatants in the way of the shooter, they could be used as shields or hostages. field of fire could be compromised in my opinion.2 points

I totally agree that debate in a logical reason manner is good and healthy. Here’s my morning don’t draft Less emotion more logic. Reason is logic without emotion . “One problem in the USA is people can't carry on a calm conversation.” As someone who is actually been to multiple other countries totally disagree with that statement, some get downright violent if you oppose even the idea of going against their standards of reason and logic. That wasn’t always the case the left to seek to shut down debate so many different areas over a period of time that most don’t2 points

Glad to hear it, give yourself a pat on the back because communicating with your government is a better use of your time than stockpiling ammunition. I always invite my representatives to visit the gun range so they can see us shoot, talk to people, see the guns so they can legislate on something they know a little about. The anti-gunners I know don't understand guns. They actually think AR-15s and AK-47s are machine guns not understanding what semi-automatic is. I always love the topic of "high capacity Magazines". The anti-gunners think we deer hunt and ducks hunt with these ma2 points

hello, I'm sort of an older guy in his 60's. I spend the winters in Florida where I go wild hog hunting nearly every night with my thermo imaging scope. I have a machine shop in my garage where I run a business on the side but I build my own gun parts and reloading tooling. I'm a pro-gun activist and belong to the NRA, Illinois State Rifle Association, and Gun Owner of America. I communicate with my government representatives constantly and marched on the Illinois state capitol on 3/27 with the gun owners of Illinois ( IGOLD ). While I avoid conspiracy theorist1 point

@themachinist Welcome to My Militia. Hope you are having a good time here while looking around for like minded patriots. I am the State Commander for the IL Light Foot Militia, and I am looking for great people that want to be active, are willing to teach what they know and learn what they don't, and help network with others around the state. We are a constitutional militia backed by established standards that are recognized across the country. We are still small in the state but continue to grow. Feel free to check out our website and see if we might be the group you are looking for. We are a1 point

One moment, you're hiking through a lovely forest. Then you suddenly seem to have gone off the trail. Clueless where you are, panic slowly unfolds. View the full article1 point

I like C2 because it's close to a wall and near the kitchen wall that also gives a better some and a line of sight to the front door and an active shooter situation, control the room, were the majority of people, they aren't going to see the guy in the back right away l, due to the wall in the distractions from the kitchen people coming in and out, most likely because most active shooters aren't trained at all, or that way it's a matter of emotion. it puts me in a position to react to faster and engage the threat while minimizing casualties.1 point

I met a Chicago police officer that said to never carry with an empty chamber. He carried a 1911 45 ACP with the safety off, bullet chambered and the hammer pulled back. He said "keep you fingers away from the trigger and the gun won't discharge." He also said, "in an emergency there isn't time to fiddle with the safety stuff." Myself, I carry my 1911 without the hammer pulled with a round in the chamber.1 point

Im Bear7, I stumbled upon this lil forum. Im a Part of USFreedomArmy.com (USFA) im a Army Veteran, Christian and a Florida area resident. I honestly do support the troops. Because the .gov leadership and politics of the military Sucks as i know 1st hand and likely others here too. I kinda wish Military Brass would revolt and would be reinstating the Foundation of this Country and cleaning up the Socialist communistic anti Americans. And i support the police. But i would like them read and undergo a class in Cadet school on the founding documents and grow a pair. The poli1 point
