  2. Hello & welcome. In todays world theres alot of talk about gear and guns. lots of opinions, lots of misinformation. I've attached a list that goes over weapons, armor, & belt. if you want the quick version, go to the pic. Let me take a hot minute & go over the choices & upgrades. I will be stating things people dont like (if this is you, please move on) FBI has determined the 9mm is the best "overall" pistol round. It is a NATO round. It is the most popular round, making up more than 30% of pistol ammo out there. Glock is the standa

  4. Claw hammer I don’t know you and I am not one to assume anything of anyone. First off clearly not the ATF and I admit that I didn’t account for the paranoia of the ATF watching every move that you undoubtably make. (Not trying to be a smart ass) I get that one can master most any skill with training I have some experience in mastering odd skills just for shits and giggles. My point is once applied a bumpstock loses ergonomics and becomes a designated system. Therefore it greatly limits its usability to be a diverse system. Many squad automatic weapons can be hip fired/ shoulder fired with rele

  5. Yes, I’m a Millennial. Sounding off from Manchester. Are we talking Constitutional Militia, or an excuse for Anarchists to start “boogaloo” bullshit? I took an Oath to the Constitution, and if someone in any militia I join takes issue with that or won’t do the same? Then I’m not with them.

  6. I believe every militia unit should have a small fund for buying cheap things that would be useful in a situation where they are mobilized. At the Salvation Army thrift shops, and similar shops, the following things can be found for very low prices: (1) Sheets and blankets. Sheets can be dyed, and become camouflage netting. String some strong twine along their edges, and you've got a method of concealing things you want to conceal from prying drones. Or of introducing uncertainty into enemy aerial photo runs. (2) Tools. 7. Two years in the making. There have been massive attempts to give this state its unified militia. We are pushing it now more than ever. The structure is tested and sound. The training is as well. The formats that all these little "groups" including TSM are using, are obviously not working. There is no communication. There is no leadership. There is no accountability and there is no direction. All units come to the table. You have literally nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain.

I can't think of anything to comment so I'm just going to post a Blueberry pancake recipe. 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 1/4 teaspoons white sugar 1 egg 1 cup milk 1/2 tablespoon butter, melted 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, thawed 1. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. In a small bowl, beat together egg and milk. Stir milk and egg into flour mixture. Mix in the butter and fold in the blueberries. Set aside for 1 hour. 2. Heat a lightly oiled

Again not really the entire point but if you feel the need to argue why squad rifles in the military are pointless then.. I guess you can do that. So people go to the lesser of two evils speech for anytime you need to defend your guy. Which is annoying how the two party system corrupted the entire process we had. To the point you cant even get a constitutional president to

  13. Let me see if I can unpack this argument 1. is Trump better than Hillary ( she was the only opponent so we can’t compare his presidency to anyone else) answer: most likely yes. Why most likely I don’t have a crystal ball to see what she would have been like. 2. has Trump lived up to his campaign promises? answer : yes and no ,but considering the extreme opposition he faces on a daily basis he’s done pretty good. 3. Has he overstepped his powers (the original topic) that question is a HEAVY debate and in no way could a forum like this take on that. 4. Trump isn’t the de

  14. I don’t agree with what the nut with the gun did. With that being said, I want to speak on the delegates speech. He speaks about how he has an office and people can talk to him there or protest there or call him there but not at his home. If he and his party pass the red flag laws or enforce any ban that should get passed, where will the enforcers go with their guns drawn? He clearly did not like the fact that anyone at anytime could just show up on his doorstep and intimidate, or worse, him. What makes him think that any citizen would not feel the same way if it happened to them because

  17. Sir, you are EXACTLY the kind of person the militia movement needs to be composed of. There are 'extremists' about. I think some of them have been made that way by what's happening to our country. (And I'm not counting the ones who are actually ringers for the Left.) If there were a non-extreme but serious group of patriots organizing to resist the disintegration of America, perhaps some of these people wouldn't drift into the crazy politics that they do get into. There are a lot of young people hanging out in discussion boards on the 'alt-right' because there is no s

  19. My goals as they pertain to my potential involvement in a militia group are essentially twofold: 1. To equip myself and fellow patriots to stand up to an abusive federal or state government, when and if necessary 2. To network with other like-minded Texans and take responsibility for keeping our families and communities safe in the event of a worst-case scenario Like anyone, I could wax on philosophically about what all that means, but that's the bottom line in plain language.

  20. Interesting, so I guess the lesson to learn here, is that if Iran ever wants a snow balls chance in hell to defeat the USA, they need to hire a retired Marine General, or at least this one. That and I am almost certain that the US Military is running these simulation war games on that board game Risk. sitting around a table, smoking cigars, making explosion noises and drinking scotch.

  21. Fracking Electoral College, I actually went and got a dumbed down version of the US Constitution > For Dummies > gives really good detailed reasoning and answers for the 5 W's , In it, It dives into the Electoral college. An it may be mentioned here in this video I didn't watch ( Yet ) but fun fact, ANY STATE include DEMOCRAT held states, can split the electoral votes. Only 2 states so far split votes. So, maybe the question should be if the democrats want every vote to really count, why the hell do they not split the votes in the their states, so each party gets a fair shake.

We are not basing leadership or structure off of area codes, however if you are within the 903 area of the northeast part of the state, you need to report in immediately so that you can be directed to your local leadership. Most of the 903 AO is covered by the 15th Regiment of the Texas Milita. From clay county to, Coryell, to Sabine to Bowie, is the coverage area for 3rd brigade. Included in this is 8th, 14th,15th, 9th and 20th Regiments. The 15th is comprised of van Zandt, Kaufman, Henderson, Rains, wood, camp, upshur, Gregg, Marion, Smith and Harrison counties. 25. Agreed. The ATF had to re-write their analysis of a bump stock and its function. He didn’t summit a bill or propose any new legislation he directed the ATF to revise a already written evaluation. I don’t personally care for a bumpstock my belt loop works just as well. My concern is that where does this end or what’s next? Binary triggers? Performance triggers? Could they mandate that any trigger under 8lbs of pressure is to easy to pull? To my knowledge there are already over 200 laws to regulate guns already. I would challenge anyone to find another amendment that is has had more encroachm

  28. Of all of the presidents mis-steps, this concerns me least. Every single president has pardoned convicted criminals, all the way back to George Washington. Guilt or innocence has nothing to do with it. It is a power outlined in the constitution, article 2 section 2. The president exercising his constitutional authority doesn't bother me. Him being "chief law enforcement officer" is a bit off... technically he is the chief law enforcement officers boss... They are both part of the executive branch, of which the president is the head of.

  34. Thanks. I don't think she's a natural 'gun' type of person, although I could be wrong. But the militia movement needs to be surrounded by sympathetic people, starting with conservatives, which she most certainly is. You might think conservatives would naturally be sympathetic to the militia movement, but that's not necessarily so, since it has gotten a bad press due to a few nut cases, and this has inevitably affected the way even conservatives think about it.

  35. This is affordable. There's a difference between cheap crap & value. yes, you could train for work-arounds for dated gear but why develop training scars? 1st & foremost; If someone is brand new to all this I would say go train at a reputable company (which will easily be north of $300). they will allow you to rent or borrow guns & gear. with that experience one should have a better idea of what they need. ammo requirements for those classes are usually around 1k rounds, which is another $200-500+ depending on the round. guns, chest rig, & a belt would be

  36. Anybody got a list that people can AFFORD to buy? Remember that pistol/ammo belts and suspenders were worn for 80 years before molle "high tech" gear came on the scene. Sure, I think it's an improvement over the older stuff... but like most everything, "evolution" comes in baby steps, so it's not like a night and day difference. Not trying to start trouble, but how many of us are going to be "operators"? Now, for those that are, go for it, but the everyday militiaman/woman probably won't need, or devote enough time to be proficient with high-speed gear. On a slightly differ

  40. I read, some time ago, that about 40? of the States have "state guard/state defense" forces. These are basically a reserve/auxiliary component to the National Guard. They are associated with the state (through the NG) but, as I recall, cannot be federalized or used outside the state. These are more closely aligned with what people normally think of, when they hear the word Militia. My understanding is, these are the Governor's forces and cannot be taken from his control. There is a statewide command structure (same officers as National Guard?), and certain minimum standards to be met. So
