  1. Yeah well, he has to get elected first. I voted in the Dem primary, and when I arrived at the high school where I vote I saw the parking lot nearly full. When I went inside to vote It was just me and the elections staff. I asked where all the people from the cars where and the guy told me a bunch of people parked them there that morning to make it look full. As we laughed about it I saw that he only had 3 pages of 25 names that had voted that day and it was almost time to close the polls. In comparison, I stood in line 90 minutes to vote for Trump and it was like a Trump rally even way back th

  4. The best U.S. military wool clothing for your loadout will give you an advantage in the field. Military clothing is popular with outdoorsmen, bushcrafters, and preppers. I was fortunate to serve in the military at a time of transition. The Vietnam Era field gear being changed to the MOLLE field gear. Thus, I was able to use some of the wool clothing that was still issued at that time. Survival experts agree that wool clothing is some of the best attire to wear in the field, especially in cold weather. So what is some of the best military wool clothing for your loadout? 1. 5. 100% agree... Regulating body temperature is vital. It can honestly become a matter of life or death. I might just mention here that "insulation" is created by having "dead air space"... that's what holds the warmth (air movement will suck it out of the unit: walls, gloves, hats etc). Moisture is another major problem. Traditionally synthetics like nylon and polyester couldn't "wick" away sweat from the body. Even cotton blends have trouble doing this, but nowadays there are some fibers that can do the job. The problem boils down to retaining body (moist) heat while removing

  10. The Left will be weeping and wailing about this, and perhaps even some soft-hearted people on the Right: Summary: a couple of crack-cocaine dealers were in their place of business when four policeman arrived to serve a warrant on one of them, Nathaniel Woods. Three of them were shot to death, by the other coke dealer. Woods has just been executed, although he was NOT the trigger-puller, who is still alive, unfortunately. From the article about this in an Alabama newspaper: ] Read the full article here: https://www.al.com/news/birmingham/2020/03/nath

  12. Well ... I have my reservations. When they know that the enemy is threatening their children (and remember your woman secretly probably thinks of you as one of them, sorry) ... they can be pretty ferocious. Hillary? Warren? Rudyard Kipling spelled it out over a hundred years ago: Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936) The Female of the Species WHEN the Himalayan peasant meets the he-bear in his pride, He shouts to scare the monster, who will often turn aside. But the she-bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail. For

  15. Thanks for excitment brothers. I'll keep updating this thread as I make progress and hit milestones. Wanted to also let everyone know, if I haven't yet, that I've been in contact with a US based ballistics body armor manufacturer for some private labeling. Mostly carriers and plates but hoping for helmets as well. Another buddy of mine is working on a logo to put on them. Its high grade stuff. I cant mention the manufacturer yet but hoping to be able to offer body armor on the site at a lower price point than what's out there as well as offer discounts to militia groups and other

  18. Welcome to the site! How did you find it? You're looking to actively build your unit. How are you planning to do it? What methods of publicity will you use? Would you like someone to start a thread on 'Building Your Unit -- How to Reach, Recruit, and Retain new people." ??? I've got a couple of ideas along those lines, and I'll bet lots of other people have to ... it would be good to get them discussed and collected together, in the context of someone actually going to go out and do it.

  19. The gen 3 extreme cold weather gear is excellent in the military . A mix of 7 layers and with boots allow you be a fighter in negative 60 degrees. The big puffy coat and pants and boots alone would be a good start. The ucp pattern is phased out so you should see them cheaply at stores. Nothing will be as cheap and work as well.

  21. You will be very welcome here -- a great bunch of people, very individualistic, a range of talents, very friendly. How did you find our site? On 'dying for your country' ... I remember seeing, reading, somehow learning about something I think Marine recruits are told they teach you, not how to die for your country, but how to make the other M&(*$(*% F%^**& die for his. (Our enemies don't really have a country, at least not this one, but the sentiment still applies.)

  24. Well, I have to say I liked Alaska. And I'm a Texan! I can tell you we were pretty mad when Alaska joined the Union in ... 1959??? because until then, we were the largest state. And suddenly we were number two! We used to tell each other then, "Just wait until all the ice melts, we'll be number One again," but from my trip there, I can say that it won't help much. I saw a really nifty glacier ... and we caught a 110 pound halibut with our friends. Now if this Global Warming thing continues, Alaska is going to become a really desirable place to live. I would advise them to e

  26. Whoa! YES!!!! I don't know much, to be honest, about how other people on this site think about the necessity to engage in 'conventional politics' -- there seems to be a kind of disdain for it among some people, which I can well understand. But for the moment, it's a game we have GOT to play. And the internet makes is much much easier to do it, than it was 25 or 30 years ago, when everything depended on your snail-mail email list -- and such lists sold for six-figure sums. But with something like this, we could build our own, starting with legislators, and then looking for

  27. Step #1: Vision The very first thing any founder of a new unit needs to do is put in some "thought time" to determine your future course of action. When I began this for my unit, it quickly turned into much more than I had first anticipated. You have to determine what kind of unit you want to form, what your goals will be, whether they be specific to the unit, or your community, or whatever else your considerations may be. Some of you will only be interested in forming a militia to train in all aspects of defensive posture for whatever SHTF scenario that may come down the pike. That's

  28. I would say that most militias are semi prepared. Maybe a few cases of water, some mre meals. Very few are running or working with a homestead or farm. If this isnt a wake up call at how a small scale event can wipe out a Costco then I dont know what to tell you. When your murdering your neighbor for a can of peaches.

A little about myself, I'm a 20 year active duty Army retiree. I served as a heavy weapons anti-armor infantryman (11H), military policeman (31B), and Military Working Dog Handler (31B/Z6/Z7). I did a two year stint as a Drill Sergeant as well. I do not consider myself an extremist nor to I want to organize with extremists. I'd like to form a militia for purposes of protecting the community and upholding my oath to defend the cons
