All i can give for input to this thread is that Information is everywhere. Who i am with may not be the same as you are with. I belong to secret society called the Patriot Cells of America and we are becoming active. My induction was in 1972 I have progressed because I am what you term as a person who understand our nations intentions at the first. The Constitution has been changed to protect the guilty, this is maybe a broad statement but it has a caveat Ive been blessed to know many patriots such as yourselves. with that said , Im here to tell you to trust but verify from those you think1 point

The LEO,s that I know personally will not enforce laws that are against the Constitution, at any cost. I've already talked to them and the Sheriff. They are fully aware of what could happen. With the defunding of the police department we are seeing massive retirement and job changes. These are hard choices but they have been made by law abiding citizens who will not stand for 2nd amendment violations. There are young deputies that may or may not feel the same way. I do know if the enemy of my enemy is my friend we have more power. So don't estrang yourself from the LEOS talk to them make frien1 point

Yes, I have no racist views, but I do love the old South's flag, and I am always intrigued by learning about my ancestors historical stories. Hey.....It's a flag, not a way of life. It's a part of history, and it is important. Just because you don't understand that, doesn't make me wrong for having a place in my heart for those that suffered and died, regardless how wrong their cause may have been. I see the BLM flags, and those seem pretty racist to me. I see the Anita flags, and those seem kinda un American as well. The fact that a Southerner might say 'go to hell1 point

What I am saying is if you saw your neighbor beating his wife while holding a gun to her head, I would enforce the law. I would de-escalate the situation remove the weapon and arrest the wife beater. The charges made at the time of arrest would go to a judge to determine the judgment of the case. Yes in the color of the law if that man was charged with a felony and armed himself he would be arrested and the gun would be confiscated. I understand unfair gun laws I also understand a drunk idiot holding his wife at gunpoint should not be armed. Agree or disagree I have been in situations like tha1 point

I completely understand where you're coming from. But in most states the law says, if you are convicted of a violent crime, or a felony, child abuse, pedophiles, some high misdemeanors. You are not allowed to own, be in the presence of a firearm of any kind. So although I agree with you as a former LEO the decision to confiscate law abiding citizens guns would cost me my job. Just to say this, laws have been in effect for a long time that restricts gun ownership.1 point
