  • Welcome to My Militia!

As a citizen of the United States, you are a member of the Constitutionally guaranteed unorganized militia.

Everything you have heard about militias from the media is likely wrong. Main stream news has primarily reported on the negative stereotypes and criminal activity of groups that have nothing to do with militia. The true militia has exactly the opposite purpose; to uphold the law and the Constitution.

We are a growing community of Americans that believe that the supreme laws of our Constitution must be diligently protected and upheld. Fostering the lawful rebirth of State militia is a crucial step in preserving the Republic.

About This Militia

Area code militias formed in 2020 and are coordinated and commanded by members within the locale. They are independent and not directed by a national command and are forbidden to operate beyond state lines. These militias are not intended to replace local units but too instead supplement them by identifying "points of contact" across the United States to establish and enhance area militia units. The leaders of the First Regiments will take the members in under their Unit, point members to already established units in their area or help them organize. These leaders will be people in good standing on the site and in their communities and must not possess any sort of blind aggression or delusions of grandeur. They must be aligned with the My Militia sites overall standards and mission.

  1. What's new in this militia
  2. Unfortunately it all depends on how many have registered on your area code militias. You can go to the discord server and see if anyone is chatting in your State. Once on the server there is a list of States on the left.
  3. Yes I don't see why not. I'm not the creator of the militia though and don't want to step on anyone's toes. If I decide to just start my own militia then no problem. I've also noticed that many of the so called members of the militias I'm looking to join aren't wanting to talk or just ignore me all together so I don't understand why I'm even here if no one wants to talk about stuff, I'd rather meet up and get to know people but you have to talk with them before that happens. There's been one or two people that have answered posts I've created like Spin Doctor but he's the only one I've really met and is way out in Washington State and I'm in NH. Would be great to see things get more life into the site which I believe this idea would be good for so I'm all for it.
  4. Would your group be interested in a running chat window in place of the topics for every post?
  5. New member here. My name is Fred; I work in Hillsboro and live in Rindge, NH I'm a member of the CCSSEF shooting range in Sullivan, NH, near Keene. I'll let other patriots know about this group. I'd like to see our numbers increase bigly! Thanks Rob for starting the group -Fred
  6. Yes, I just joined and I am a Ham operator. I have a general license and can operate on HF frequencies at my home base QTH and VHF/UHF at all times. Check out the N1IMO linked repeater system. It has excellent coverage. My call sign is K1KRO. I'm really busy now, but I do intend on making radio contacts with other patriots. I'd also like to become more active in ARES excersises. Thanks, Fred
  7. Hello, Are there any other HAM radio operators on here? If so let me know. I want to start communicating via HAM radio. There is a good repeater in Manchester that is very quiet on which we can at least start to make some initial contact. Let me know and we can set up a time. I am trying to be specific by naming a certain repeater, but it doesn't have to be this one, there are many repeaters in NH. But I am specifically talking about the N1SM repeater at 147.330 and a PL at 141.300. I'll be on there listening TONIGHT at 7:00 PM. But if that's not a good time, let me know.
  8. Hello All, I just came to this site today. Might anyone have come up with some private land for a get together to do some shooting? If not, does anyone know of public property that is somewhat secluded. NH law is very loose in that is allows for for the discharge of firearms over 300ft from an occupied dwelling. Clearly an antiquated law but it's still on the books! Per state law (NH RSA's 207:3-a, 207:3-c, and 644:13), you may not shoot across or within 15 feet of a road, or “within 300 feet of a permanently occupied dwelling without permission of the owner or the occupant of the dwelling or from the owner of the land on which the person discharging the firearm or shooting the bow and arrow is situated.” You also may not discharge a firearm within the “compact part of a town or city,” defined as “the territory within a town or city comprised of the following:(a) Any nonresidential, commercial building, including, but not limited to, industrial, educational, or medical buildings, plus a perimeter 300 feet wide around all such buildings without permission of the owner.(b) Any park, playground, or other outdoor public gathering place designated by the legislative body of the city or town.(c) Any contiguous area containing 6 or more buildings which are used as either part- time or permanent dwellings and the spaces between them where each such building is within 300 feet of at least one of the others, plus a perimeter 300 feet wide around all the buildings in such area.
  9. Semper Discens Hello I live in Gilmanton.
  10. Likewise. Where are you located?
  11. I'd love if someone could reach out in regards to joining.
  12. Hello Semper Discens Can't give you the legal answer to your question. I do know most public land is not setup or ideal for it, i.e. no back stop in a cleared area. Most public land here consists of hiking trails and state parks and my guess is that shooting is not allowed. Best place in our state is private land, indoor ranges, or gun clubs. It would be great if the state had a public shooting range located in several parts of the state, if they did it would be very busy. PS: Welcome to the State of NH, (Live Free or Die)
  13. Are we not allowed to shoot on public land here in NH? I’m new here. Semper Discens
  14. I agree we need a member with a good piece of land to get together at. I placed a post about doing that weeks ago no reply on it yet.
  15. Hey my name is Matt. From the Concord area. Hopefully we can get this thing rolling. We should organize a time to meet, maybe someone who has some land to shoot and get to know one another. Either way, happy to be here.
  16. Figured first thing we should do is get to know each other. I am rob. I created the militia, The Old Republic of America (OROA). I recently moved to newport. My area of expertise would be combat tactics and survival/medical skills.
