  • Welcome to My Militia!

As a citizen of the United States, you are a member of the Constitutionally guaranteed unorganized militia.

Everything you have heard about militias from the media is likely wrong. Main stream news has primarily reported on the negative stereotypes and criminal activity of groups that have nothing to do with militia. The true militia has exactly the opposite purpose; to uphold the law and the Constitution.

We are a growing community of Americans that believe that the supreme laws of our Constitution must be diligently protected and upheld. Fostering the lawful rebirth of State militia is a crucial step in preserving the Republic.

About This Militia

Area code militias formed in 2020 and are coordinated and commanded by members within the locale. They are independent and not directed by a national command and are forbidden to operate beyond state lines. These militias are not intended to replace local units but too instead supplement them by identifying "points of contact" across the United States to establish and enhance area militia units. The leaders of the First Regiments will take the members in under their Unit, point members to already established units in their area or help them organize. These leaders will be people in good standing on the site and in their communities and must not possess any sort of blind aggression or delusions of grandeur. They must be aligned with the My Militia sites overall standards and mission.

Loyalty Oath - By joining our unit you hereby confirm you will abide to and be bound by the following oath...

  1. What's new in this militia

  3. Facebook is deleting public pages of Militia's. One of my Battalion guys is now in North Carolina and there page down there got deleted. Facebook dleted the Illinois State Militia page as well. I am the CO of the 8th Battalion Rebels based in Plainfield. I have 80 members in my Battalion.
  4. Would your group be interested in a running chat window in place of the topics for every post?
  5. The IGOLD march has been rescheduled to May 13. That date could also be changed but for now that's it. Current events regarding the coronavirus: I would be interested to know what you guys are seeing and where you think we are headed. A tremendous run on ammunition in the last week, see attachment from Marengo, Illinois. This is what I think. This week, many people receive their last pay.check, the week after no paycheck at all. No money no food so people will be stealing food from those people that have it. Your thought?? Jim
  6. There are buses going to Igold and I'll be on the one leaving the St Charles Sportsmans club. Cost is $40. If interested in the bus ride contact: Jim Cunningham <[email protected]>. I'll try to remember to wear my NRA hat to this even if you care to keep an eye out for me. Last year I found a nice restaurant 2 blocks from the state capitol building. I think this is it: http://www.joegallinaspizza.com/ Gallina Pizza, 432 E Monroe. I'll be there having a sandwich an hour before the bus loads up for the return trip if anyone would like to join me there
  7. New to the cause or just looking for an active home away from home. Look at the IL Sons of Liberty, a constitutional militia. We are looking for more active members. We train at least once a month and often more. We are very active in the 815 area code as well. If your interested look at our site. ilsl.org. and hit the "Join US" tab. Thanks for your consideration.
  8. IGOLD March 2019: Speeches presented in front of the capitol building. One speech mentioned Chicago should form its own state. After the presentations we entered the capitol building. News media know where to be seen. If you attend the march do not bring weapons because you go through metal detectors before entering the capitol building
  9. The Illinois State Rifle Association is sponsoring the IGOLD march at the Illinois state Capitol building. We should all participate in this event. IGOLD stands for Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day where we go to the state capitol building and talk directly to our representatives. The cost is FREE and last year there were buses chartered to take us down and bring us back I assume this year is the same. You can ALSO drive yourself. LAst year there were 6000 well mannered gun owners, women and children at the march. Marchers stretched for 6 city blocks. Militia members could
  10. In light of what I see going on in politics I feel it is time to locate people that value the 2nd amendment like I do. Looking to find people that think like I do. There may come a time when I'll need friends who also support the 2nd amendment. I'm not a radical nor do I believe in conspiracy theories for the most part. I believe in being stealth, in other words I like to keep out of sight and not attract attention to my self or what I think. For example I believe open carry is ok but I'm not going to do it. Conceal carry I do all the time. I have no military b
