  • Welcome to My Militia!

As a citizen of the United States, you are a member of the Constitutionally guaranteed unorganized militia.

Everything you have heard about militias from the media is likely wrong. Main stream news has primarily reported on the negative stereotypes and criminal activity of groups that have nothing to do with militia. The true militia has exactly the opposite purpose; to uphold the law and the Constitution.

We are a growing community of Americans that believe that the supreme laws of our Constitution must be diligently protected and upheld. Fostering the lawful rebirth of State militia is a crucial step in preserving the Republic.

About This Militia

Area code militias formed in 2020 and are coordinated and commanded by members within the locale. They are independent and not directed by a national command and are forbidden to operate beyond state lines. These militias are not intended to replace local units but too instead supplement them by identifying "points of contact" across the United States to establish and enhance area militia units. The leaders of the First Regiments will take the members in under their Unit, point members to already established units in their area or help them organize. These leaders will be people in good standing on the site and in their communities and must not possess any sort of blind aggression or delusions of grandeur. They must be aligned with the My Militia sites overall standards and mission.

  1. What's new in this militia
  2. One thing I always like to add to number four when it comes to verifying what is beyond your target in regard to a self defense shooting is to be aware of barriers behind your target which block your view that may have people on the other side that do not prevent bullet pass through such as sheetrock walls or even car doors.
  3. 19th Tennessee Infantry/ ETVSM 1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. This is the primary rule of gun safety. A safe direction means that the gun is pointed so that even if it were to go off it would not cause injury or damage. The key to this rule is to control where the muzzle or front end of the barrel is pointed at all times. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different circumstances. 2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. When holding a gun, rest your finger on the trigger guard or along the side of the gun. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger. 3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use. Whenever you pick up a gun, immediately engage the safety device if possible, and, if the gun has a magazine, remove it before opening the action and looking into the chamber(s) which should be clear of ammunition. If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does. 4. ALWAYS Know your target and what is beyond. Be absolutely sure you have identified your target beyond any doubt. Equally important, be aware of the area beyond your target. This means observing your prospective area of fire before you shoot. Never fire in a direction in which there are people or any other potential for mishap. Think first. Shoot second. Know how to use the gun safely. Before handling a gun, learn how it operates. Know its basic parts, how to safely open and close the action and remove any ammunition from the gun or magazine. Remember, a gun's mechanical safety device is never foolproof. Nothing can ever replace safe gun handling. Be sure the gun is safe to operate. Just like other tools, guns need regular maintenance to remain operable. Regular cleaning and proper storage are a part of the gun's general upkeep. If there is any question concerning a gun's ability to function, a knowledgeable gunsmith should look at it. Use only the correct ammunition for your gun. Only BB's, pellets, cartridges or shells designed for a particular gun can be fired safely in that gun. Most guns have the ammunition type stamped on the barrel. Ammunition can be identified by information printed on the box and sometimes stamped on the cartridge. Do not shoot the gun unless you know you have the proper ammunition. Wear eye and ear protection as appropriate. Guns are loud and the noise can cause hearing damage. They can also emit debris and hot gas that could cause eye injury. For these reasons, shooting glasses and hearing protectors should be worn by shooters and spectators. Never use alcohol or over-the-counter, prescription or other drugs before or while shooting. Alcohol, as well as any other substance likely to impair normal mental or physical bodily functions, must not be used before or while handling or shooting guns. Store guns so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons. Many factors must be considered when deciding where and how to store guns. A person's particular situation will be a major part of the consideration. Dozens of gun storage devices, as well as locking devices that attach directly to the gun, are available. However, mechanical locking devices, like the mechanical safeties built into guns, can fail and should not be used as a substitute for safe gun handling and the observance of all gun safety rules. Be aware that certain types of guns and many shooting activities require additional safety precautions. Pistol & Rifle Range; Range Rules & Safety GENERAL RULES Handgun shooters under 21 years of age and long gun shooters under 18 years of age must have parental approval and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while on the range. Be sure that your firearm is safe to operate and know how to operate it safely. Always keep your firearm unloaded, your finger off of the trigger and pointed in a safe direction until ready to shoot. Never hand a loaded firearm to another person. Use only the correct ammunition for your firearm. If you have any questions, please consult a Range Officer. No inexperienced shooters are allowed on any of the ranges without prior instruction, coaching, and approval of the Range Officer. Alcoholic beverage use are prohibited before or during all Range Times Individuals displaying the effects of, or thought to be under the influence of, drugs or alcohol during actual Training or Range Time will be removed from the 19th Tn. Infantry. Children must not be left unattended. Range officers are authorized to remove any shooter whose behavior is detrimental to the safe operations of any of the ranges. Commands issued by any Range Officer must be followed immediately. If unsafe behavior is noticed, then please make sure that the Range Officer is notified of such action immediately. Please read and understand the Range Rules and Regulations before you proceed to any of the ranges. Please ask any of the Range Officers for clarification if you have any questions.

  8. Good morning Troops We are joining our Allies in the 615 area code. It is now time to step away from the keyboards and get off the couches. If you are serious about protecting our freedom, Liberty, and the pursuit of the American dream, it is time to stand tall and get active. It has been a challenge for me trying to get the Tennessee Volunteers motivated, but in the last few weeks I have manged to locate what I think to be some good leadership across our great state. Leadership is as Follows; 865 Area Code, Currently myself 423 Area Code, Raptor 47, My XO 731 Area Code, DanMan, My Corp. and leader of my Bravo Company 931 Area Code, is in the works for a new leader (To be announced shortly). That will be my Charlie Company 615 Area Code, WOLFE/CR5-HQ/ 615TN I am also looking to add Delta Co. and Echo Co. Possibly more. Now it is time to get more Boots on the Ground for training. If you seriously have what it takes, you can contact any of the leaders mentioned here and get active. Let's go Tennessee. Let's show them why we are the Volunteer State, HOOAH
  9. I plan to provided I do not go to my sons reenlistment for Marines. [email protected]
  10. https://www.dailywire.com/news/do-as-they-say-minneapolis-police-tell-residents-to-be-prepared-to-give-up-personal-belongings-to-robbers Resist before we reach this point. Join the event!
  11. Aug. 6th BLM/ANTIFA Rally Anyone able to attend, send myself or Raptor 47 a message and we will send you details. Include your email in the message. Captain 19th, Tn. Infantry
  12. Any and all groups in Tennessee will be linked as far as COMMS go. That is the goal for me. We also have a page dedicated to known Militia leaders to discuss the working of their states and to gain more organization. As for Structure, Raptor 47 is the owner/Leader of the 423 I am the Owner/Leader of not only the 865, but the rest as well. Corp. DanMan is out in West Tn. he has the 732 and is my Bravo Co. As for training together, We are working on getting more troops here in Tn. going. I have been working for months to get folks active on here and other areas of the site.
  13. Hey Rev, Just wanted to check on the status of the 423 group. Trying to understand the structure of the group. Is this going to be separate from the 865 militia with a separate XO or an attachment to the 865 group. I think many have the attitude if things get bad enough they will step up to fight then but it is essential for people to understand the importance of building relationships acknowledging strengths and weaknesses in skills and personality. To train together. A wise man understands the more we know the more we understand how little we actually know and understand.
  14. I have reached to so many in other area code via emails, and never heard back. That was 6 months ago. Some folks come on and set up a profile. Then either do not get a response or they stop checking in because of life or forgotten passwords. Don't be discouraged over folks not getting back. Stay vigilant.
  15. Evening folks. Hope you all are doing well. We have had some new members recently that have reached out to other members near by according to the member map feature. They are claiming no response from any members. I don’t know if nobody is receiving the messages. Or if they are not being sent right. If you happen to receive a message, please respond, even if you are not recruiting. So they know they are getting somewhere. I will work with the new members to make sure they are getting messages out correctly. No better time than now to get the recruits you can to get some teams together and trained. I figure we have till November. Thank you
