Contact us: [email protected] Maryland Defense Force III% Standards and Operation Procedures(SOP) Introduction: Maryland Defense Force is a Patriot Unorganized Militia Group of Law abiding citizens that care deeply about our rights as Americans. Mission: Maryland Defense Force is a State unorganized militia that stands to defend the freedoms and rights of all citizens of the state of Maryland and the United States. We educate and train our citizens to protect their rights. We will assist in State Disaster relief humanitarian missions and to protect our citizens from tyranny. Standards and ethics: It is the duty of the citizen’s militia to protect and defend the unalienable Rights of all members of the community. Under no circumstances will any member of Maryland Defense Force tolerate those who advocate acts of criminal violence, terrorism or a change away from our republic form of government; nor will it support any specific political party or candidate, nor espouse any particular religious denomination or doctrine. All members must understand the duties and obligation of both citizens and government under the United States and their state's constitution. Requirements: -Must Be the age of 18 -Must Be the age of 21 to possess any federally regulated firearms and follow state guidelines. -Must be able to attend 1 FTX a month. -Must check in at least once a week(preferred daily) -Must not be a felon or have a restriction against your 2nd Amendment rights. -Must acquire all the required equipment. -Must provide your own weapons and ammo. -Must Be Able to do at least a 3 Mile Hike unless moved to an Admin role. -Must qualify with Pistol at 25 yard with 80% of rounds in target. -Must qualify with Rifle at 50 yards with 80% of rounds in target . -Must Be on comms as scheduled Mon-Fri at 1900 unless you have been excused. -Must make monthly FTXs. If you miss 3 FTXs in a row or miss 5 FTXs within the calendar Year unless excused by COC for leave of absence, you will be discharged. Disqualificationd -No Federal Police allowed. -No Active Police or Retired Police that still contract with the police department or federal organizations. -No Sex Offenders -No Felons -No restrictions on your 2nd Amendment rights. Gear list: Uniform -1 pair Marine Corps Marpat Top and bottom and or Marpat Frog top. -1 pair of OD Green tactical pants -1 black shirt -1 Plate Carrier with chest rig magazine pouches for primary and secondary, radio pouch, smoke grenade pouch. -2 IFAKs one on belt, one on plate carrier. -2 tourniquets one on belt, one on plate carrier. -hydration pack -1 radio with ear piece. -1 pair combat boots or tactical hiking boots -1 secondary tactical belt with side arm holster and magazine pouches, dump pouch, -Primary weapon system -Secondary weapon system -Flashlight with Red lens -Night Vision if you have. -72 hour go bag
