As shares of Facebook continue to plummet amid a data-harvesting scandal - down nearly 10% in two days, the Silicon Valley social media giant is trying their best to act shocked that data from 50 million accounts was used for political purposes. 
Over the weekend it was revealed that Trump-linked political data firm Cambridge Analytics had used private social media activity gathered without users' permission, which Facebook said was "an incredible violation of everything that we stand for." 
Except it's not...
As we reported early Tuesday, President Obama's director of integration and media analytics for his 2012 campaign, Carol Davidsen, claimed - with evidence, that Facebook knew the Obama campaign was similarly harvesting massive amounts of user data - to "suck out the whole social graph" in order to target potential voters. After Facebook found out, they knowingly allowed them to continue doing it because they were supportive of the campaign. 
"[M]ore than 1 million Obama backers who signed up for the [Facebook-based app] gave the campaign permission to look at their Facebook friend lists. In an instant, the campaign had a way to see the hidden young voters. Roughly 85% of those without a listed phone number could be found in the uploaded friend lists. What’s more, Facebook offered an ideal way to reach them," reads an article Davidsen posted as a prelude to her postings.
Meanwhile, in 2016 we reported on Facebook's "political bias" training manual to address their rampant left-leaning political bias.

For those seeking more evidence that Facebook was "in the tank" for Democrats, look no further than this WikiLeaked email from Facebook COO, Cheryl Sandberg, to Hillary's campaign manager, John Podesta, in which she states "I still want HRC to win badly. I am still here to help as I can. She [Hillary] came over and was magical with my kids."

This moment calls for public discussion, and we want our customers and people around the country to understand what is at stake.

The Need for Encryption

Smartphones, led by iPhone, have become an essential part of our lives. People use them to store an incredible amount of personal information, from our private conversations to our photos, our music, our notes, our calendars and contacts, our financial information and health data, even where we have been and where we are going.

All that information needs to be protected from hackers and criminals who want to access it, steal it, and use it without our knowledge or permission. Customers expect Apple and other technology companies to do everything in our power to protect their personal information, and at Apple we are deeply committed to safeguarding their data.

Compromising the security of our personal information can ultimately put our personal safety at risk. That is why encryption has become so important to all of us.

For many years, we have used encryption to protect our customers’ personal data because we believe it’s the only way to keep their information safe. We have even put that data out of our own reach, because we believe the contents of your iPhone are none of our business.

The San Bernardino Case

We were shocked and outraged by the deadly act of terrorism in San Bernardino last December. We mourn the loss of life and want justice for all those whose lives were affected. The FBI asked us for help in the days following the attack, and we have worked hard to support the government’s efforts to solve this horrible crime. We have no sympathy for terrorists.

The Pentagon helps Hollywood to make money and, in turn, Hollywood churns out effective propaganda for the brutal American war machine...

The US has the largest military budget in the world, spending over $611 billion – far larger than any other nation on Earth. The US military also has at their disposal the most successful propaganda apparatus the world has ever known… Hollywood.

Since their collaboration on the first Best Picture winner ‘Wings’ in 1927, the US military has used Hollywood to manufacture and shape its public image in over 1,800 films and TV shows. Hollywood has, in turn, used military hardware in their films and TV shows to make gobs and gobs of money. A plethora of movies like ‘Lone Survivor,’ ‘Captain Philips,’ and even blockbuster franchises like ‘Transformers’ and Marvel, DC and X-Men superhero movies have agreed to cede creative control in exchange for use of US military hardware over the years.

In order to obtain cooperation from the Department of Defense (DoD), producers must sign contracts that guarantee a military approved version of the script makes it to the big screen. In return for signing away creative control, Hollywood producers save tens of millions of dollars from their budgets on military equipment, service members to operate the equipment, and expensive location fees.

Capt. Russell Coons, director of the Navy Office of Information West, told Al Jazeera what the military expects for their cooperation: “We’re not going to support a program that disgraces a uniform or presents us in a compromising way.”

Phil Strub, the DOD chief Hollywood liaison, says the guidelines are clear. “If the filmmakers are willing to negotiate with us to resolve our script concerns, usually we’ll reach an agreement. If not, filmmakers are free to press on without military assistance.”

In other words, the Department of Defense is using taxpayer money to pick favorites. The DOD has no interest in nuance, truth or – God

Baltimore ranks high on the “shithole” list for its widespread death and destruction. The city’s population hit a 100-year low in 2017, as residents are fleeing neighborhoods to escape the violent crime. The federal government stepped in last year at the request of the mayor to get the city under control. Intelligent agencies are circling above with light aircraft using optics and other spy-tech to monitor residents, meanwhile, a network of cameras on the city streets use facial recognition software to track citizen.

Furthermore, Baltimore's homicide per capita is on par with Venezuela, a country that is suffering from an economic collapse in South America.

Combined with violent crime, the opioid crisis is adding fuel to the fire signaling that the most violent days are just ahead.
To say that the city is in a state of decline would be a major understatement.  Everywhere you look there are abandoned buildings and homes, and as you drive through some of the worst areas you can actually see drug addicts just lying in the streets.  Just like so many other communities all over this country, decades of liberal policies have taken a brutal toll, and now the city is just a rotting, decaying shell of the glorious metropolis that it once was.

There are some sections of Baltimore that you simply do not go into once the sun goes down.  And actually it isn’t a very good idea to go into those areas during the day either. 
Being a Baltimore resident these days doesn't seem to be that enticing a proposition.  Unfortunately, crumbling water infrastructure has only added to the agony of residents that occupy what increasingly looks like a failed city.  As The Baltimore Sun noted in December, a series of water bill hikes, an effort designed to raise money to repair the city's crumbling water infrastructure, has left the poorest residents facing bills equal to 20% of their monthly income.

Not surprisingly, few Baltimore households have actually budgeted 20% of their annual income

According to most definitions, armor is anything that can be used as a protective covering. It’s a defensive tool that has and can save lives.
Unfortunately, recent anti-law enforcement political rhetoric has turned the term “armor” and law enforcement’s need to use it into a cause de celeb for those whose political agenda lines up with chants of “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.”
That misguided political activism has emboldened some to target and attempt to kill law enforcement officers. Since January 1, 2016, law enforcement fatalities have seen a record 129-percent increase, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. That included an attack by a self-proclaimed ISIS disciple in Philadelphia who attempted to kill Philadelphia Police Officer Jessie Hartnett. Thankfully, the officer was saved by his body armor. Armor saves lives, and the better the armor, the more good-guy lives can be saved.
Saving Lives
In late 2015, in San Bernardino, California, officers engaged in a running gun battle with two other self- proclaimed followers of ISIS. In the final gun battle, the terrorists fired more than 80 rounds of rifle-caliber ammunition at responding police officers. Of course, most types of rifle rounds will penetrate a standard patrol car like Swiss cheese. At one point, when some officers were pinned down, the local SWAT team moved in with an armored vehicle. That armored vehicle provided the necessary cover from the terrorist onslaught and helped saved officers’ lives.

Many people, however, can take positive steps to reduce or eliminate some of their medications. Of course, don’t do this without talking to your doctor!
A lot of health conditions can be improved without medicine. For example, one of my friends was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Before she knew it, she had been prescribed two drugs to reduce glucose levels and another for blood pressure. However, through a strict diet and exercise regimen, she was able to lose enough weight to reduce her glucose levels and blood pressure. She didn’t “cure” the diabetes, but she got her glucose level and blood pressure down to more acceptable levels. If she can maintain this, she may not need the prescribed drugs for years.
Losing weight not only can slow the onset of type 2 diabetes, in can prevent other health conditions as well, such as heart disease and cancer. In other words, good habits now can prevent future health conditions that may suddenly debilitate you in a future without modern health care.
On a similar note, if you have a medical condition that can be corrected but is not yet serious enough for immediate attention, reconsider. For example, if you have poor eyesight that laser surgery can repair, or a failing knee joint that can be replaced, talk to you doctor about doing it sooner rather than later.

Beofengs and their Ilk-Banned
Yes, but not like you think.
As most here who have spent time reading this site know I hate these things. They transmit out of band, they are not certified for anything they can transmit on. The antennas are trash from the factory and they break with annoying regularity.
However, a repeater system has banned them
Apparently as technology has spread for Digital Mobile Radio another issue has come up which has caused the operators of DMR-MARC series of repeaters to ban the use of Chinese radios which have been repeatedly shown to cause harmful interference
Baofeng DM-5R test results

Rocky Mountain Ham Radio continues to investigate alarming problems with recently released low-cost DMR Tier II radios. This article focuses on the Baofeng DM-5R Plus and Baofeng DM-5R with Tier II firmware update. A later article will examine the Radioddity DM-55 / Tytera MD-398.

Our tests find that the Baofeng DM-5R is unfit for DMR use and degrades the repeater network. We will continue to forbid the use of it on our systems.
Here are our findings.
The short version:
“Does the DM-5R transmit a legitimate digital voice signal on timeslot 1?” Yes.
“Does the DM-5R transmit a legitimate digital voice signal on timeslot 2?” Uncertain. Baofeng says no, but we have been able to activate talkgroups which are only carried on timeslot 2. This requires more research. The radio transmits a copy of the TS1 signal on TS2. It is not supposed to do this. (Updated Jan 5 2017)

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.
Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.
Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton , Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.
At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.
Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.
John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished.

This topic came from an interesting post in a different thread. We know there are Muslims in the US military. I have also personally seen them post from private militia groups on Facebook. Ones that ask to join in my local group are vetted and denied, but these people are very open and declare that they are Muslim up front. How would you involve and interact with one in a militia group? Have you attempted to educate them on why the core values of their faith are contrary to our Constitution? Anyone with experiences?

When you think of the most dangerous, violent cities in the world, do you picture slums in Third World countries with vicious drug cartels or arrogant warlords? Maybe the kind of violence where enemies are decapitated and whole families are murdered seem like things that happen far away in some terrifying, exotic locale.
Some of this is true – but FIVE of the world’s most violent cities are right here on the American mainland and another is in an American territory. The list was created by researchers of anti-violence think-tank Seguridad, Justicia Y Paz (Security, Justice, and Peace), who made their rankings based on statistics of homicides per 100,000 residents.
The vast majority of the cities on the list were in Central and South America. Interestingly, the violence in Venezuela appears to have dropped in violence this year, but not because it’s suddenly become a mecca of safety. The official situation there has devolved so much that they simply can’t track all the homicides.
But back to America
We pride ourselves on our first world status and civilized societies, and yet four of our cities ended up on the list of the most dangerous and violent locales on the planet.
They are:
#13 St. Louis
#21 Baltimore
#32 San Juan
#41 New Orleans
#42 Detroit

How did these cities make the list?
St. Louis, Missouri: Since the Ferguson riots, the entire state of Missouri has seen a sharp increase in violence. This has culminated in the city of St. Louis, which had a 2017 murder rate of 65.83 per hundred thousand people. There are thousands of violent crimes each year in the city, which only has a population of about 320,000 people.

Baltimore, Maryland: The city of Baltimore has an astounding murder rate of 55.48 people per hundred thousand. Last year’s murder rate was nearly as high as the year that the riots erupted over the killing of Freddie Gray by city police officers.

In order to understand what we mean when we speak of "the evolution of the modern militia" and the importance of My Militia you must first understand some history about what a militia is and what has brought us to where we are today.
When you hear of the Second Amendment, you mostly hear "the right to keep and bear arms" even tho that is the second part of the amendment. The first part being the right to a "well-regulated militia".

When James Madison drafted the Second Amendment in 1789, it was not as much of a controversial statement as it seems to be today.

In the Constitutional era, it was widely understood that a Militia, composed of the whole or part of a community, was responsible for assembling, training, and when necessary, fighting to the last man for the community and its people. To be called a Militiaman was to be identified as someone who had answered a call to community service and, while not necessarily a professional in arms, was nonetheless ready and willing to put his life and livelihood at risk for the sake of his family and friends. This came with great dignity and honor these men were often referred to as a Hero's.

Then there was a point at which the image of the Militia transformed in the public eye, from the stout-hearted Minuteman of the American Revolution, to the caricature of a militant, A regressive tinfoil hat wearer who withdraws to the backwoods, stockpiling mountains of Vienna Sausage and harboring deep suspicion for everyone around him.

At what point did the once worthy title of Militiaman become associated with radicals, vigilantes, and terrorists?

The following communication surveys the presence of the Unorganized American Militia movement as to be depicted on the internet and explores how the Militia movement uses My Militia website to build a networked community. The adaption of My Militia from a tool of the elite to a mass consumption commodity for everyone shall increase the potential to improve social organization and strengthen the movement within. This transformation also allows for new conceptions of the community and improves the way relationships based on our shared identities are built. My Militia helps its members improve upon themselves and expand.
My Militia has allowed locally-based groups and isolated individuals to connect with one another and create a shared identity. This identity, based on the connections mediated by My Militia gives the membership a bridge by converting users from individuals to being a part of their local Militia organization.
This is by no means a comprehensive list of all standards held by various elements of the Militia movement. However, it is indicative of the common strands that we feel militia groups should operate. The exact manner in which these three beliefs are verbalized differs from group to group but there are some widely shared interpretations.

Many people we run across make the statement they are not a militia, because they fear the militia moniker. They talk militia talk and do militia things but to them they think they are safe because they dont refer to themselves as a militia.
Well listen up, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck but calls its self a chicken who are you fooling?
We are all the militia, stand tall stand proud because there is absolutely nothing illegal about what we are doing here.
We are not here to police all the individual Militias , we are here to network like minded individuals as an alternative to Facebook for privacy and censorship reasons, to provide tools and services to help members find militias and militias to find members, to help in training of various survival and tactical methods and to increase awareness of current events and historical items.
We do not permit any unit that represents the things that give militias a negative stereotype. We prefer to remain a somewhat impartial welcoming hub of information for men and women across the nation who want to become self-reliant and are willing to show resistance to tyranny of either a foreign or domestic manner.
Be a wolf in wolves clothing it is the only way your unit will get stronger, black listing yourself from this site and going awol will make it very difficult for your unit to return in good grace, you may think when our plight succeeds for then it will be easy to call yourself a militia and utilize this site, that is not the case. we will remember who stood beside us and who turned and ran.

First of all you all need to realize that over that last 3 weeks i have ran the gambit on Militias I've talked to people with tin foil hats atw to stead fast marines. Often times the same subjects come up so I'm going to set something strait for everyone.
Why are we making this site?
Our plight is simple yet difficult. To cease ignorance and intolerance of our rights as law abiding american citizens and to connect like minded people in order to strengthen and educate each other in various tactical and survival methods. So we are better prepared as groups and as individuals.
Why now?
Facebook deleted my gun group , yes this pissed me off. but it did snap me out of the fact that i was using Facebook in a manner that gave Facebook too much power.... then i seen some militia groups get deleted. The writing was on the wall, I scrambled to build this site and contact the remaining militia groups and let them know about it...this got me a 30 day ban on Facebook btw. Not only did i want this site to be a place the militias was safe to conduct legal businesses i invision a complete resource for self-reliance and development.
I know some of you are uneasy , and wondering why you should join the site ...let me tell you this
WE ARE NOT PRIVATE...FOR A REASON, OUR FORUMS ARE NOT HIDDEN... FOR A REASON, for you see that hiding in the shadows is not our goal...
If you are asking this question there is obviously something enormously wrong; it places emphasis on the fact that people are fearful of government reprisal for engaging in legal activities. Law-abiding American citizens participating in legal activities are not afraid of their government! Also with out public interaction an individual units growth and strength would be greatly hindered and slowly depreciate over time. We greatly discourage the private ideology.
